That doesn't make them particularly intelligent in the sense that it can then be translated into being good at the actual job of President. In terms of general IQ, I'd say the two are close. Trump's tough to tell since he got everything early in life due to his dad's wealth.

Dems are making this election about the personalities, not the issues. I bet a third of the voting populace doesn’t know the proposed policy differences, but bases their ultimate decision on personality and outward physical appearance. These people will decide the winner. Just the fact that Harris is relatively young, female and has an infectious laugh will garner herself a bunch of extra votes. When Bill O’Reilly worries, I worry. He’s starting to have doubts. He claims the election will be decided by the poll numbers taken 5 days after the debate. If Trump comes across as a vindictive, cranky old man and Kamala a relatable naive, but likable candidate as “one of us”, then the country, as we once knew of it, is screwed for generations to come.
That is quite an array of assets for an "idiot, asshole and buffoon" to manage.

Yeah - he has his name on a lot of stuff. It's hard saying how much he's a part of all that, especially since he's spent the better part of the last decade campaigning for president and taking up space in the West Wing.
And it's hard telling how deeply he's involved in all those types of deals. A friend in Chicago told me that he doesn't have much to do with the Trump tower there other than his name being on the building. I don't know though.
That said, you could also make three other very distinct lists, probably just as long if not longer:
- the number of businesses he's bankrupted.
- the number of lawsuits he's lost or settled for not paying and/or screwing people over
- and the number of things Paris Hilton and the Kardashians have their names on/tied to.
Honest question. Do you think Donald Trump was exclusively driving the bus on all that? I mean, no one is questioning that he inherited a shit ton of money. He can pay lawyers and accounts to do a lot of that stuff.
I think it's telling just how many people have worked closely with him over the year who publicly say he was a moron. Nevermind the fact that we all hear and see him say stupid stuff almost daily.
Harris is good at something, and that was setting herself up in California politics; and we know she just didn’t use her mind in that effort.
Biden picking her bor VP is nowhere near an accomplishment. Biden sticking it out until he was exposed as senile is not her accomplishment. She is where she is because of circumstances beyond her control The Democrats (all of them) have settled on “joyfulness” to win the election. Thats the best they got. She has no record or demonstrable skills to be president.
You focus too much on money to measure Trump. His occupation requires the ability to make decisions, manage complicated endeavors, negotiate, and use creativity and imagination to accomplish anything. He has some very successful and beneficial projects in his background. Others not so much.
i know lawyers personally who worked on the trump international development. they met with him and he was involved. of course he has an army of support and he isn't driving the bus on all of that but i do know/believe in his prime years the guy was a workaholic and involved. he's a teetotaler and strange. and yes he had a massive war chest. that makes things more doable.
i have ownership interests in six businesses. all enjoying varying degrees of failure. i'm actively involved in 2. sort of involved in 2. and just contributed money in two. i am on my phone 16 hours a day. it's why i can check here constantly. i'm never not looking at my phone. so what i have have is a drop in the ocean to his and it still takes tons of support and of course he couldn't do it without an army of support and wealth. but he has still amassed an incredible amount of shit. and as evidenced by his inability to procure a surety he's not very liquid
Could you point to where I measured Trump by his money? I said it's tough to compare Trump with Harris based on their beginnings because while Harris doesn't have a stellar academic record, Trump's start was clearly influenced by his father's money. Not sure how you can deny that.
Whatever the Harris team is doing it's genius. There's never been a presidential campaign launch like this in American history. They've got some highly-skilled strategists, marketing and communications people behind the scenes who, whatever they're being paid, aren't being paid enough. The messaging and delivery have been flawless. The Fiserv/United Center blend the other night was one of the most masterful things I've ever witnessed in politics.
She will win the election by an electoral vote margin at least equal to Biden's in 2020. I'm sure they're already lining up a top legal team and planning the post-election strategy that will be necessary to combat Trump's "It was rigged and I was robbed!" bullshit including pro-Trump election officials refusing to certify votes at the state and local level.

And that comment about the primaries is pretty funny. First, what happened in 2020 is irrelevant now. Next, Humphrey didn't participate in any primaries in '68 after LBJ stepped aside, and Humphrey became the nominee.
The only people I hear complaining about Harris and the primaries are MAGA. Maybe you can be lead plaintiff in a class action. You'd likely have a standing issue, though.
I think you are correct with most of this. Of course this has nothing to do with actually being president. Maybe they can pull the job off with Kamala in The Oval with marketing and communication sleight of hand, but I don’t think so. The U.S. is in unmistakable decline.
Harris’ handlers will make sure her “daze” of granting off-the-cuff interviews is over. Anyone can read someone else’s prepared script as if it’s their own and come across as some kind of genius. Barack Hussein Obama pulled it off that way as a chosen man of privilege, much like Harris might and that just ain’t right.

Secondly, of course she's nowhere near Nicki Haley or even someone like Klobuchar. Klobuchar isn't nearly as energetic and emotional as a speaker, which is why Dems refused to rally around her, but she's clearly sharp and has much deeper history of presenting well-reasoned arguments and policy ideas.
But, nobody seems to care about that, on either side of the aisle. Populism > policy in modern politics.
America has become soft and gullible and quite frankly they do not pay attention to reality.
Wife has a employee who signed out for a 15 minute break, after an hour they started looking for her. They found her coming up from the cafeteria. They did some investigating, she signed out at 8:45 and back in at 9:07 then left the floor went to the cafeteria ordered breakfast walked past the cashier and sat down and ate.
