CEO of United Healthcare gunned down in midtown Manhattan

I’m seeing progressives. Like the one linked. Progressivism is a cancer. I don’t think trumpers are as vehemently anti capitalism. So no. I disagree with you. Per usual
I live in Trump county and can tell you that most here were applauding this guy. Making jokes about being his alibi. Same with liberals in this area. All of them are sick. Our country is sick. This guy offing an insurance CEO is a symptom. People cheering is a symptom. It has nothing to do with left wing or right wing.

I’d love to hear a case for a civil suit against these universities that radicalize kids into woke violent criminals - tilting at windmills based on the insane teachings of blue-haired pronoun Tsars.
There is no case like that because it's not what the issue is. This guy was just insane. Learning to question and be critical of the system is not a bad practice. Being insane is though.

Maybe it’ll have a positive outcome. Again the system needs reform. We don’t need benefit management companies as our largest companies in America. Claims denied and most of our populace incapable of appealing same. Sope unable to get a referral. A pcp impossible to find without a concierge program. 60 percent of bankruptcies a result of unpaid med bills

If you watch the video of his valedictorian speech in high school he’s clearly not insane. Something made him insane.

I sure hope so. It will need to be the CEOs that wake up and make changes though. Only they have that power. Otherwise we may be looking at 1800s France.

Inertia. Too big to change. Too big to get rid of. Over 10 percent of workers are in healthcare. I don’t know. I don’t know anything about huge organizations etc. no idea how it can be reformed

IGW rip

CEO's serve at the pleasure of the board and their contract, unless the CEO is a majority shareholder.

That’s not how corps work. CEOs have fiduciary responsibilities to the corporation. It will require regulations and/or market forces to change.

Do you think the average Joe understands any of that? All they understand is they are getting ass raped by insurance premiums and when they go to make a claim its like pulling teeth to get coverage. That's the perception in our country right now. CEOs and board members absolutely have the power to change that.

Or become an addict like normal people
I lost my sister in June from Fentany od.....started on oxycodone as a patient following an auto accident.

She had no chance against Big Pharma...designed to create addicts(customers).

Yet the Sacklers are $Billionaire Pharma oligarchs.

Radicalized by pain sounds like peak woke dipshittery to me.

I don't think so. He handled it differently than most (who become opiod addicts). To be sure, his choice affected others in a more direct way and he is an incredibly selfish narcissist. As most glory killers are.

I actually think pain might be one of the few radicalizing forces i could at least understand and sympathize with.

I’m very sorry to hear that mas. I know quite a bit about that topic. Hopefully they pay bigly. Purdue’s settlement that insulated them got booted. I believe they were revisiting settlemt involving the sacklers this month. Hopefully they’re fckd. Many/most of the other manufacturers and distributors have already settled and proceeds hitting states for treatment and abatement. Hopefully the states don’t piss it away like tobacco. The statutes with this money are certainly more restrictive so hopefully we’ll see better results

That Bundy dude?
Yeah, but he liked to kill them after. Again, serial killers are prbably a bad cohort to choose from as they are all ****ed up and probably have difficulty in normal sexual relationships.

He had a long-time girlfriend with a kid (not his) at the time he was doing many of his murders.

So do we let Luigi back out? Courts didn't put them in jail.
No. Can't condone vigilantism. However, no one should be surprised by this and I'm betting more of it happens. We are becoming a neo feudalist society.
