I'm curious what % of Black, Hispanic and other minorities vote you think Trump will garner? Not only do I think the poll numbers are inflated, but I think a lot of the men from those groups who indicate a preference for Trump will end up not voting at all...

There was a lady we talked to pregame that had her bosses tickets....said he usually gives her one game a year as a "thanks". She was from down near Evansville, had her two teenaged daughters, and their exchange student (girl) from Denmark, who had never been to an American football game. 😄

What a scene to stumble into for your first game, right? They were digging it. Had a blast. 👍

I'd guess you wouldn't be a fan of Jimmy Carr's.

I think the guy's brilliant myself. But he is absolutely vicious in skewering pretty much anybody and everybody. That said, I don't think politicians would be wise to invite Jimmy to a rally. That would seem likely to backfire.

I just find it kind of a social curiosity that our reactions to these sorts of things have a lot to do with the context in which they're delivered. The jokes this guy is getting heat for today would be considered mild in a traditional standup context. And I honestly don't think much (if any) of the outrage is genuine....it's the manufactured type, designed to induce favorable political movement.

In fact, I'd say that about virtually all outrage in the political realm. I'd say it about the "Nazi Rally" thing, too. Few people are actually this easily offended.

Been going to games since I was 7 or 8. But typically just a single game per year the past 20 years or so. Decided to buy what Cig was selling and go "all in" this year. Snagged a "suite" in the SEZ. It's been an absolute blast this year. At 66 and in relatively good health, I feel more than blessed. It actually hurts my heart to know some folks my age or older are no longer able to enjoy what's going on here.

Ware had great touch around the basket, a touch that can’t be taught. His shot was so soft he often got favorable bounces on the rim. I don’t think Ballo has that same innate finesse, the intangible of touch, as if the ball was made of feather rather than leather.

Na. Narrative would have been the same from me. I wasn’t even watching the score or anything. I was watching individual players and what worked. Multiple times I looked up and was like, oh crap, they cut it to 2.

If a half full Creighton arena is a “tough road environment” … Smith, TKR, and Loyer did exactly what I expected. The freshman were about what I thought. Cox was a pleasant surprise though. He’s going to help right away. Was disappointed by Colvin and Heide. The 5 is a question mark, but I’m guessing will be serviceable.

You can say it’s like those recruits, but it’s not reactionary. Painter literally said two weeks ago he was running his stuff and not catering their stuff to Creighton. So it’s not. Had Purdue won, I’d say ok, cool, but means nothing. What did rotations, sets, players, etc look like? If painter was playing to win, he wouldn’t have played a 12 man rotation with a variety of different rotations. They probably would have helped the freshman guards defensively. Catered to certain things.

Easily, probably lower, considering they were #3 last year but probably 110 in offense. They don't have a go to guy or a main scoring threat and that showed at end game.

I'm not sure what you're getting at here. I happen to like Jon Stewart. Colbert has his moments.

The only thing I've seen of Hinchcliffe is of him making fun of Puerto Rico, Blacks, Jews and Palestinians at a Trump rally. Seems like he might've read the room he was in well enough, but he failed miserably in not having the wherewithal to know those jabs would extend to a much wider audience.

All of this hype that Trump is winning is set up to claim the election was stolen after he loses. It's the same playbook as 2022 only on a much larger scale., Dump a bunch of polls to manipulate the margins, and play into the MAGA belief that if Trump doesn't win the other side cheated...It's a key part of Trump's strategy- the renewal of "stop the steal"...

someone in here posted how Ballo go his shot blocked in yesterdays game. UT had two guys that played above the rim and were excellent shot blockers. No cause for concern getting your shot blocked by those guys.....
