You guys got screwed...

PSU fan here. Can’t believe you didn’t get a NY6 bowl. Your only loss by 7 to CFP’s #3 team & a team with more losses, including one to Louisiana, gets in over you? IU had a magical year, and it’s so unfair you didn’t get appropriately awarded for it.
Screw this committee. It's nothing but bullshit and propping up the traditional powers.

Thank you, Sucks.

Doesn’t all of the Big lose out by not getting a share of the money?
Someone brought up a good point on our board. Kevin Warren likely cost the Big Ten a lot of money. By changing the matchups for the 9th game he kept Iowa and IU from playing each other, costing one of those teams a quality win. Now Iowa is in the Music City and IU in the Outback. Meanwhile an average ISU team gets the Fiesta.

And just for the record, most of our fans hate Gary Barta too.

Warren has been a grease fire so far in my opinion. He comes across as a weak leader..

I don't believe we would have been able to play due to our covid status so it really didn't matter.

No kidding. This is how we're treated by the Big Ten anyway, so we're used to it.

I’m a Purdue fan and am shocked... basically 4 at large spots and they gave it to 3 SECs and Iowa state by keeping Indiana at 11 despite AP having them at 7. I thought Indiana should have gotten it over Iowa state and Georgia...
When the cumulative win % of the teams you beat comes in at .380, your schedule strength takes a hit. Add it to the fact that you only played 7 games, and you most likely won’t get the benefit of the doubt. Blame the B10 for this mess not the committee. Since ISU played everyone in their P5 conference and finished 8-1 at the top and played in the CCG, they are more than deserving of a NY6 bowl this year.

I think he was hired for two reasons. First, and most importantly, he would be willing to be a figure head puppet. The second was demographic.

Not saying he wasn't qualified, but he sure doesn't look terribly competent.

Warren's tenure will likely be brief. This got ****ed up in every way possible, and he allowed the three power schools to hold IU down.

Getting beat by Louisiana-Lafayette at home is a resume builder?

C’mon man. There is something wrong there. You cannot lose games like that at home by 17 points and come out like the committee ain’t biased.

ISU had 3 padded practices and the whole team did not practice together prior to that game and it showed. We had SDSU scheduled but brought in LA instead full well knowing they were returning everyone from a very solid team. We dropped 7 passes, had two turnovers, gave up a kick return & punt return for TDs, and a 73 yard pass for a TD.

Lmao. They got beat AT HOME by 17 to Louisiana. So yeah, they definitely deserved it.

And you think the committee factored all that in?

Every single team has had adversity to deal with. IU could make an argument that they were knocked out of this because its star QB had a season-ending injury and they got dinged for that.

oh well...good luck anyway. Very disappointed in the corruption going on in committees like this but it’s par for the course.

17 point loss at home. Lol. To Louisiana Lafayette.

Thank you for making the point for us. With that kind of argument, we beat OSU if our receiver doesn't drop a long pass, then we give up a pick six on the following play.

IU deserved more than ISU.

See other thread and you will understand about that first game that wasn’t even on the schedule. I will counter that with 8-1 with wins over OU, UT, WVU, TCU.

What excuses do you have for your other TWO losses?

Boo freaking hoo. We can play the same sob story. We played OSU, Maryland, and Wisconsin in three consecutive weeks. All coming off a bye week.

The committee had an agenda and they made a system to justify it. IU is justification for OSU being in the final four, but apparently we aren't very good, because our QB got hurt.

But ND beating Clemson, at home, in OT, is worth a lot, despite Lawrence not playing. Let's ignore ND getting blown out yesterday...

This was a ridiculous charade. Good news is ND is going to get completely curbstompped.

KSU, UT, & WVU all had multiple weeks open prior to playing us. You beat teams with a .380 winning %. That is not murder’s row by any stretch. Losing your QB certainly didn’t help.

We beat a top 25 team with our backup QB.

We beat 2 other top 25 teams. Part of the reason their winning percentages aren't so great is because they played US.

Oky state by 3 on the road and OU by 6 in the CCG? Tough teams to beat and both in the top 25 CFP rankings.
So you got beat by 3 teams ranked below you, the highest one ranked #10 at the time & you think you deserve to be in the top ten?

And we lost by the #3 team in the nation by a TD. And that was our only loss.

Just go back to your own forum. You are embarrassing yourself and pissing people off. Just accept that your team got a huge gift.
One game and the records of the teams you beat are sh#t. Beat Iowa and NW then get back to me. At least they had winning records.
