D1Baseball had Rutgers making the Field of 64 out of the B1G last week, but that may have gone up in smoke after they got swept at home by Purdue. Rutgers has one of the weaker overall schedules in the B1G, so that won't help their cause any. They may have to win the B1G tournament to get in.

Nebraska suffered their first conference loss of the season today, but they took the series at home against OSU.

Illinois is off to a great start to the conference season with a 7-2 record on a favorable early B1G schedule. They have a series next weekend against NW which is having a poor season, and then their schedule gets much tougher. They couldn't have asked for a better early schedule to kickoff their conference season. We helped them out by going 1-2 at home against them to start the conference season.

Iowa lost their home series to Michigan, 1-2, with their top two pitchers getting no decisions in losing both games of a doubleheader to Michigan on Saturday.
