B1G standings after this weekend (3/24)..

Here are the standings along with current RPIs and Q1 records.

In the B1G, we finished the weekend in 6th place in batting with a .289 team average and we were .296 at the end of last weekend. We moved from 12th place in pitching to 13th (last) with a team ERA of 7.48, while Michigan which was last at the end of last weekend is now in 12th place with a team ERA of 6.86 and that's an improvement for them. Our fielding continues to be dead last with a percentage of 0.961.

Speaking of fielding percentage -- Maryland's fielding has been really bad this year as well. It seems that they are committing errors and giving up unearned runs at an alarming rate so far. Not sure what is going on with that, either for Indiana or Maryland.

Also, the Terps are lucky not to be 0-3 in conference. They were outplayed at home by Michigan State this weekend, and relied on late-inning craziness to get both their wins...

IU has committed 33 errors in 24 games and Maryland is not far behind at 30 errors in the same amount of games. IU's errors have come on 850 chances to the Terps' 879 chances so the Terps have the better fielding percentage.
