Trump knew these were reimbursements, not actual expenses that Cohen incurred in 2017. You yourself used the term reimbursement, but Todd Blanche maintained there was no reimbursement (because if he admitted they were reimbursements he practically admitted Trump's guilt)...
Furthermore when the DOJ prosecuted Cohen they pointed out that the idea of a retainer was fiction...

So you're claiming that the self described "great Businessman" sent Cohen $35000/mo for legal services in 2017, and wasn't aware that there was no actual retainer agreement?
