yeah that is crazy, wins every yearTough for Cal to be lumped in with this bunch.
Weird. Some here seem to think he's underpaid.guess who's #1, what leverage did Woodson have to demand 4.2 million a year.
I have high paid assistants. to do the leg work, I'm just the closerFive most overpaid men's college basketball coaches: Calipari, Woodson make list
The numbers don't lie. These coaches are falling short of expectations.www.usatoday.com
Link it Kurt. Dont be lazy like woody.

MW
#1 in doing less with more
But hasn’t won the big one in 12 years or even reached a final four in 9 which has made BBN nervousyeah that is crazy, wins every year
His recruiting looks like it’s a good as ever. Maybe just getting old. Why is he struggling vs his first several years? But hasn’t won the big one in 12 years or even reached a final four in 9 which has made BBN nervous
Wow someone made a list based on thier opinion without any data or reasoning to back it up.guess who's #1, what leverage did Woodson have to demand 4.2 million a year.
This is the issue. Every resource a coach would need is top-10 at IU. Yet we are ranked #70-100 depending what ranking you look at.I’d love to see an all-in $$’s per win total per program including recruiting budget, all coaches salaries, NIL $$’s, etc. We’ve gotta be at the top, or should I say bottom.☹️
He might have figured some things out this year. Gonna be interesting to see how they play in the NCAAs...I have a sinking feeling they're going to do very well. His recruiting looks like it’s a good as ever. Maybe just getting old. Why is he struggling vs his first several years?
My personal opinion; he got lazy post championship, and our recruiting took a hit when K and Duke also started recruiting one-and-done (up until K retired.)His recruiting looks like it’s a good as ever. Maybe just getting old. Why is he struggling vs his first several years?
Scheyer is still recruiting well there unfortunately. They will slowly keep fading post-K, but not yet with the recruits. My personal opinion; he got lazy post championship, and our recruiting took a hit when K and Duke also started recruiting one-and-done (up until K retired.)
Yea. They’re always a threat and it’s not Cal forgot how to do it.He might have figured some things out this year. Gonna be interesting to see how they play in the NCAAs...I have a sinking feeling they're going to do very well.
Yeah they won’t be K levels, luckily. I can’t see them completely disappearing either.Scheyer is still recruiting well there unfortunately. They will slowly keep fading post-K, but not yet with the recruits.
Duke isn’t really a hardcore basketball school, they caught a great coach (with good bag men). I’m hoping they slide to more #10-20 ranked over time as K’s impact slowly goes away.Yeah they won’t be K levels, luckily. I can’t see them completely disappearing either.
With the ACC seemingly about to implode I wonder what that will mean for Duke? UNC will be fine, they’re wanted by both of the P2 conferencesDuke isn’t really a hardcore basketball school, they caught a great coach (with good bag men). Next year will certainly challenge the recent trend that you can't win with a bunch of highly ranked freshman. Kentucky could challenge that this year too again.Duke isn’t really a hardcore basketball school, they caught a great coach (with good bag men). Hopefully something bad (for Duke). With the ACC seemingly about to implode I wonder what that will mean for Duke? UNC will be fine, they’re wanted by both of the P2 conferences
I could see them moving to the Big East. Actually that would make the Big East scary as hell in basketball.Hopefully something bad (for Duke).
No we are majorly behind Duke, Kansas, NC etc. I do believe this has been addressed recently with a big $ commitment from two particular familiesI’d love to see an all-in $$’s per win total per program including recruiting budget, all coaches salaries, NIL $$’s, etc. We’ve gotta be at the top, or should I say bottom.☹️
Source? I’m not sure we are that far behind. NIL info is hard to find.No we are majorly behind Duke, Kansas, NC etc. I do believe this has been addressed recently with a big $ commitment from two particular families
In dollars, or dollars per win? Source? No we are majorly behind Duke, Kansas, NC etc. I do believe this has been addressed recently with a big $ commitment from two particular families
I think they want him to bow out voluntarily. But they are moving his office to the basement & taking away his stapler.Thought Howard should have been on the list.
He has 5-6 first round picks. That’s one of the differences. He needs that type of talent to win anything… and I can see them making it to the final four and more.He might have figured some things out this year. Gonna be interesting to see how they play in the NCAAs...I have a sinking feeling they're going to do very well.
He often has that level of talent. Reeves, Shepherd, Dillingham, etc... give him reliable shooting and playmaking that he hasn't had in a while. But a lot of them are true freshmen, it'll be interesting how far they can carry them in the tournament. If they weren't so reliant on freshmen, I'd have them as one of my favorites to win it all.He has 5-6 first round picks. That’s one of the differences. I can’t reveal my sources. I’ll just say my Dad was former captain of IU and maintained many basketball relationships. In dollars, or dollars per win? Source?
