So, I started a Scottrade account 5 weeks ago. Since April 1st, I'm up 25% on my initial investment. Some of the funds I've profited on are Citigroup (C), Las Vegas Sands (LVS), Rydex 2X S&P 500 (RSU), and Rydex 2X Select Financial Sector (RFL).
I'd like to get input from other investors here, to share info, maybe help each other out, give each other ideas, etc.
I currently own shares in RFL and Fifth Third Bank (FITB), which is up 21% in the aftermarket.
Please, if you do not have any constructive input, do not post. "Run as fast as you can from the stock market" might have been good input back in August of 08, but right now, there is money to made as many stocks are at their lowest levels in years.
