No it isn’t a cause for concern. Wtf.
I agree but what would happen if a white kid said the same thing about playing for a white coach? Would the response be the same?Good lord. I think I’ll worry about other things and cheer for him to succeed on the court and in life.
I agree but what would happen if a white kid said the same thing about playing for a white coach? Would the response be the same?
Deer cant see color they are afraid of everything. No, it wouldn't but those are the times we live in.
My wish is that in the future, probably long after I am dead, this country will stop seeing color at all. One can hope.
Tell the media to chill the overkill and it might just happen. No, it wouldn't but those are the times we live in.
My wish is that in the future, probably long after I am dead, this country will stop seeing color at all. One can hope.
Do white people have the same life experience as black people? Go ask George Floyd.I agree but what would happen if a white kid said the same thing about playing for a white coach? Would the response be the same?
smhDo white people have the same life experience as black people? Go ask George Floyd.
Anyone who thinks a white kid saying the same thing wouldn’t be called out is in denial.Personally,I don’t care if he’s purple if he can put the ball in the damn basket.I agree but what would happen if a white kid said the same thing about playing for a white coach? Would the response be the same?
It would not be the same, a white high school player would be demonized, but I think your question is the wrong question to ask. Because all other things being equal (they never are) being white and black is a total different experience. And if you are honest in your thinking, you know which experience generally comes with more inherent benefits and opportunity. You may not like to hear this young man be so blunt about his preference but do not let it make you not mad at him for expressing it. Let it make you angry at the fact that his personal experience and perhaps his family's history have created his feelings. Be disappointed at the events that led up to his feelings.I agree but what would happen if a white kid said the same thing about playing for a white coach? Would the response be the same?
Now that was funny. As opposed to a midget white coach that chews gum all the time, can't run an offense and is a complete jerk........
There is an easy answer to the question, and it sounds like you don't know this answer. So, yes, smh
What would happen if an IU commit came out and said “I wanted to play for a white coach”. There would be people holding posters outside Assembly Hall. There is an easy answer to the question, and it sounds like you don't know this answer. So, yes, smh
Too much money to be made by race hustlers for that to happen. No, it wouldn't but those are the times we live in.
My wish is that in the future, probably long after I am dead, this country will stop seeing color at all. One can hope.
Oh I have some answers, i believe. But this isnt the place for it.There is an easy answer to the question, and it sounds like you don't know this answer. So, yes, smh
I'm sure the police brutality icon George Floyd had a completely different life experienceDo white people have the same life experience as black people? Go ask George Floyd.
No.
It's almost like different circumstances have different meanings. Weird....I agree but what would happen if a white kid said the same thing about playing for a white coach? Would the response be the same?
White people who attend a predominately black school have the same experience. It is brutal what they have to go through.Do white people have the same life experience as black people? Go ask George Floyd.
I would say let's focus on whether George Floyd was white and whether he would have been murdered by the police: the answer is no. If you don't understand that black people have been treated much differently than white people by police, then you don't have a clue.I'm sure the police brutality icon George Floyd had a completely different life experience
George Floyd was a violent career criminal. George Floyd moved to Minneapolis in 2014 after being released from prison in Houston, Texas following an arrest for aggravated robbery. On May 25, 2020, Floyd was arrested for passing a counterfeit $20 bill at a grocery store in Minneapolis while under the influence of fentanyl and methamphetamine and while carrying the coronavirus. George Floyd was a Porn actor, was arrested at least 8 times, went to prison 5 times for drug abuse, theft, criminal trespassing, and aggravated robbery. He was the ringleader of a 7 man criminal gang. He dressed in a blue Water Works uniform to gain access to a family home. He then forced the terrified woman into the living room and put a gun to the pregnant woman's stomach during the home invasion while his gang of thugs searched the home for drugs and money. Not finding any, his partner pistol-whipped the terrified woman while she screamed for help. Imagine how she must feel right now to know he's considered a hero? He should have been in jail for life.
But then society at large is responsible for his life experience, right? CRT.
this is called "making up a guy"...no one said anything about a weirdo type of white kid not getting called outAnyone who thinks a white kid saying the same thing wouldn’t be called out is in denial.Personally,I don’t care if he’s purple if he can put the ball in the damn basket.
I'm guessing there is nowhere in civilized, enlightened society for it.Oh I have some answers, i believe. But this isnt the place for it.
I summon the devilWhite people who attend a predominately black school have the same experience. It is brutal what they have to go through.
Well, considering that the vast majority of college coaches are white it puts it into a different context for judgement.I agree but what would happen if a white kid said the same thing about playing for a white coach? Would the response be the same?
Lmao.
No it wouldn’t and there is a reason for that . I bet if you think really hard you can figure it out. SmhI agree but what would happen if a white kid said the same thing about playing for a white coach? Would the response be the same?
oh for real?Personally I wish he would have kept his feelings off Twitter. He can have whatever reason he needed to make a college decision. Just didn’t need to put it in writing.
Worst and stupidest cliche in the book. Everyone sees color, even if you are blind.Tamar will get a rude awakening when he realizes Woody doesn't see color.............
Stupidity . Of course they don’t.White people who attend a predominately black school have the same experience. It is brutal what they have to go through.
Agreed. I don't think it's a big deal at all, but also it would be different and wrong for a white kid to say he wants to play for a white coach. 64% of college bball players are black and what's the percentage of coaches who are black... 10% (edit: I checked, and it looks like it's 22%)? If I'm a black kid, I'd probably prefer to play for a black coach too in those circumstances. If you don't see how that's different than a white kid saying he wants to play for a white coach, I can't help you.Personally I wish he would have kept his feelings off Twitter. He can have whatever reason he needed to make a college decision. Just didn’t need to put it in writing.
What if George had not resisted arrest? Did you watch the complete video of his arrest? Now he was high on drugs. In fact he had quite a bit of fentanyl in his system. I can't prove this but I really do believe if a white man had acted just like George Floyd the police would have done the same thing.I would say let's focus on whether George Floyd was white and whether he would have been murdered by the police: the answer is no. If you don't understand that black people have been treated much differently than white people by police, then you don't have a clue.
