Not sure the point of this post...no clue if IU will ever get involved with this kid. But I like to make early "calls" on kids that haven't blown up yet.
A couple summers ago I made a call on Jonathan Sanderson out of Michigan...2026 kid. At the time, was playing for a decent regional AAU program (Bates Fundamentals)...he's graduated up to the same program that Gabe Cupps played for (Midwest Bball Club), and now has an IU offer.
Anyway...Vaughn Karvala. Plays for 16U Team Herro EYBL . I saw him play this weekend in Chicago. I would have to imagine he's going to blow up very soon. Cooper Flagg levels of blow up is a possibility, based off his size and skill. He's from Wisconsin...and his 247 profile lists them with some interest. Everyone will be on him before too long, I imagine.
