The Serious Election Day Thread

I guess I just spent so much time in a county where I knew all the judges and respected them and fell into the habit.
I can’t imagine that most people know anything about most judges. I always voted for Surbeck because he officiated at my wedding. But unless you’re a criminal or a lawyer (insert joke here) you likely don’t encounter judges.

When indiana had the property tax cap constitutional amendment ballot measure its the only thing I voted on that year. Left rest of ballot blank other than libertarian.

Some positive signs in GA.NBC news exit poll found no sign of Black voters shifting significantly to Trump. And in OH, the area where Vance is from is running about 3 pts lower (64-61) with 61% in...And in Mahoning where Youngstown is which Trump won slightly in 2020, Harris actually leads 54-45 with 43% in.These types of margins sound good for Brown

Hear Moreno really stuck his foot in it after the Selzer poll, saying something to the effect that he didn't know why "those old women" were concerned with abortion...

Oh jeeze, that was a real account? I thought it was fake.
This promo video is like an SNL skit.

just saw an interview of a senior in high school, girl, say she voted for harris. well it was my first time and all my friends were voting so i wanted to vote. jaded but fcking hell thse 18 year olds don't have a clue. it's too young. i wouldn't mind seeing voting age be 25 to be honest
there are a lot of 50 year olds with no clue.

I would've thought giving gifts in 'pro-your candidate' poll stations to encourage a vote, was illegal?

But Cuomo said Kamala and surrogates are calling students in lines in PA and sending Pizza's to the university ballot lines to encourage people in staying to vote.

Interesting. If repubs arent doing that they are dumb.

I got through like 90 seconds before in my mind, it bled into this.

Couple well known (?) hip hop performers (I have no clue who they are) showed up at a Philly high school polling place to give a free concert.

Polls close at 8:00. NBC then rattles off list of those states that just closed and declares them too early to call. Morons.
