Gotta think he holds the world record for the amount of 40-50 year old ass pulled in a lifetime. I mean like never going to be beaten. An unapproachable record like Cy Young's win total. Those side hairs are incredible
I'm sorry but when i hear the words "closing time" i can only think of this. Shudder@Bulk VanderHuge
If you like Lyle, here's him and Nanci Griffith doing a duet of "Closing Time" back in the 70s at some random backyard BBQ in Texas before either of them hit it big.
This song about the poet/sociologist/current 81 year old president of Ireland gives me president envy:
No, I didn't. That's pretty wild. When was that?Did you know he spent a few years in Bloomington teaching at IU?

Well I'd agree if it wasn't for Whos Next, Tommy and Quadrophenia... Oh and some of Odds and Sods... Eliminate those, and I just can't see why anyone might regard them as anything more but pedestrian... Good but not great...
Im pretty sure in the 80s. He said his three favorite things in Bloomington were the Lily Library, the school of music, and Nicks. Also said he thought the woman running Nicks was “dreadful”. Haha

A few weeks ago I took my daughter to see Tame Impala, so I've been listening to their stuff on and off. It was a great show. They didn't play this cover, but I'm kind of digging it.
I saw them in 2013 at the 9:30 Club in DC. What a great, great show that was. They closed with a long jam version of Half Full Glass of Wine. Here's part of that:Tame Impala is just so good. I like all their stuff, but in particular their earlier stuff is outstanding. I hear they’re going to tour for Lonerism soon, so Ill be sure to catch them then.
I need to see more of her - or should I say hear more of her.
I agree with you...mostly. This may be one of themFind me a better song from a better 90's album than this joint....not sure it's possible. SP doing Soma live.
