Dammit Goat. It's hard not to post shit here when I'm listening to headphones all day staring at a spreadsheet.
Also, this is great with headphones on.

Hahaha. I have a lawyer friend who recently died who wore headphones all day like air traffic control. He'd point to them like he was on a call but you could see the phone part wasn't lit.Oh, but there's people that do that shit. Got one guy with a full on gamer headset....on camera...every time.
Lowell George was Little Feat ... when he died they died.I haven't paid attention in years and just saw that they were here next month. I wonder if any of the founding members are left
Saw Sly and Family as a freshman at IU. Sat in the balcony at AH, and per SOP they were late taking the stage...
correct .. and a horrible drunk that ruins every live show he's ever played. There's nothing worse than a drunk drummer ..Also, my namesake effing blows. He's a terrible drummer and person.
Last time I went to Deer Creek was Buffet in 2001. It was originally scheduled around Sept 11, and was rescheduled after the tragedy. I think it ended up being in November, and was the coldest concert I ever attended. I saw Springsteen in a freezing rain at Shea in Oct 2004, but I think the Buffet show was even colder...Hey, there are still tickets to the REO, Styx, and Loverboy concert up at Ruoff (Deer Creek) tonight (I know...hard to believe). I'll save you a lawn seat.
Mustaine is consistent. His 1990 lineup was great. I loved megadeth. Lars was never a good drummer but he drove that Metallica bus. Stinky European kid.Unsustainable. Mustaine was (at least at that time) a Grade A POS. I can see why they dumped him.
I like Hammett.

Hammett is kind of a hack. Nice guy though.Unsustainable. Mustaine was (at least at that time) a Grade A POS. I can see why they dumped him.

It's like he forgot to play the keys in the video posted above. LoL!Saw Sly and Family as a freshman at IU. Sat in the balcony at AH, and per SOP they were late taking the stage...
that is quite the drummerOkay...one more.
Saw these guys as an opening act for Saint Motel (another band for another day). They crushed it, and were cool AF.
KOLARS:
One of my favorite videos.
I was at that show. I sat on the floor on folding chairs. High school buddy was on the student board, and we scored 12th row seats. Great show.Saw Sly and Family as a freshman at IU. Sat in the balcony at AH, and per SOP they were late taking the stage...
Where was The Capper?I was at that show. I sat on the floor on folding chairs. High school buddy was on the student board, and we scored 12th row seats. Great show.

Not only was he a drunk, he could barely keep time .... but he hit the drums really hard. *eyeroll*
That had to be '73 or '74, depending on semester. Had no idea you were as old as I am...I was at that show. I sat on the floor on folding chairs. High school buddy was on the student board, and we scored 12th row seats. Great show.
Unpopular opinion: I am not a fan of Keith moon’s drumming…..even if I get that it’s a big part of The Who sound. Probably explains why I’m not a huge fan of most of their music. Not only was he a drunk, he could barely keep time .... but he hit the drums really hard. *eyeroll*
Remember when we only had 3 or 4 tv channels and the Smothers Brothers actually presented relevant musical guests? Judy Collins performing "Someday Soon", The Beatles doing "Let It Be", and this 1967 performance of My Generation...
