The B1G will be The B2G?

It will be interesting if the pac-12 can find other schools to join in order to stay afloat.

Only 4 teams left so would think they would want to get to 10 at least if not back to 12. Probably can't steal from power 5 so maybe some mid majors will be looking at an upgrade

San Diego, San Diego State, UNLV, Nevada, Fresno State, and Colorado State. Back to ten teams.

The remaining four should take lesser deals and try to join the Big 10. Cal and Stanford certainly should, and the others should beg to do it.
And the Big Ten should say no. Even with lesser deals they would still be diluting the payment pool.

Supposedly some of those 4 are in talks with the Mountain West.

If the deals are properly structured, there’s no reason they should dilute the payment pool. Stanford and Cal would get better deals for themselves and the B10 would gain access to the Bay Area, as well as an official alignment with two elite universities.

Oregon State and Wazzu might go that way but but it would be shocking if high minded Cal or Stanford would choose this course of action. Academically, the fit with the B10 is their only option. Guessing they need to get over the notion that they’ll have to accept a lesser share if they want to join.

Concur completely.

You’re thinking of UCSD which is a different university than San Diego St.
No, I'm not. IUGradman listed San Diego and San Diego St as potential additions to the Pac12 so perhaps he/she was thinking of UCSD. However, UCSD doesn't play football so that's probably not right either.

IUgradman? I think I’ve found your problem. Lol.

Oh lookie, an Iowa fan doesn’t like me. My life is over!
I don't know you, so I neither like nor dislike you. But based on your posts on this site, most serious persons, including myself, don't take you seriously. You mildly amusing, so it's not all bad. Accurate? Not so much.
