Sturgill is the latest music star announcing that he's been afflicted with COVID-19. Sounds like he had trouble getting tested when he first presented symptoms. This is a theme we're seeing. The president keeps bragging about how the US is the World leader in testing, but examples like this keep showing what a lie that is.

Hope Sturgill makes it through. Sounds like he'll probably be alright.

We have a thread over on the Cooler containing a few Trumplings complaining about Beshear's order that people who attend Easter Sunday services (in person) are to be self-quarantined. But it seems pretty obvious that Kentucky's results have been a lot better than Tennessee's, and it's hard to not point to the difference between (Dem) Beshear's approach and actions and those of (GOP) Lee...

The difference is highlighted by high-profile cases like Sturgill, along with the tragic deaths of John Prine and Joe Diffie...

"A natural experiment in stopping the spread of the novel coronavirus is playing out on the border between Kentucky and Tennessee, where an early start to social distancing is pitted against a late one.

As of Tuesday, Kentucky is now reporting 1,008 cases and 59 deaths, while Tennessee is reporting 3,802 cases and 65 deaths. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear declared a state of emergency on March 6, while neighboring Tennessee’s Bill Lee waited until March 12, and then took until the end of the month to suggest people stay at home. The two approaches led to two drastically different outcomes playing out on the national stage."
