With the loss today, IU has extinguished their final chance at beating a ranked team this season. With that, they finished 2-7 against AP top 25 teams, with the last win coming November 30. This is the first season since 2009-10 that IU did not beat a ranked team in December-March. In that season, and the one before, IU did not beat any ranked teams.
