Soccer

They’re building chicken and pickle here. Look it up. People are putting a lot of faith and money into this not being a fad
There is a very nice entertainment complex here in Cincinnati that includes a couple of breweries, restaurants, apartments, a pickleball complex (indoor and outdoor), etc. It's at the old US Playing Card complex, and the development is called Factory 52.

Hilarious! Someday. In the not too distant future. A bunch of drunks are going to show up at their old man futsal game in Fort Lauderdale and Messi is going to be on the other side!! Futsal is taking over old man leagues. The pickleball of soccer

The shot from the end line was pretty funny, as he used the wind to blow it in.

oh yeah that's awesome. with kids who are still little i love mixed places like that to wander around

Prices have dropped a little bit here. Get-in price is $31. And there are A LOT of seats for sale on SeatGeek. At least at TQL only the first 3-4 rows are not under cover.
What was the face value for supporter section seats in STL? I see one pair for $86 on SeatGeek but all other seats are $92+ - that's less than face? Looks like A LOT of seats for sale just like here. Weather here should be OK - 56 and only a chance of rain. If I were young and single I'd hit a bar for the 4:00 Bengals @ SF game then walk over to TQL for the FCC game.

I don’t know. A bunch of my friends posted on Facebook that their face value is $150 and they are selling for cheaper. Bowl seats Yeah I’m too old to sit down there in that

Down to $47 here. Madness

Rough night in STL. Meanwhile, NY Red Bulls are a trash team. Not sure what they call the game they play, but it sure isn't soccer. Meanwhile, there's this beauty from Barreal (who reportedly is getting a lot of interest from outside MLS)

Netflix has a new documentary out on one of my all time favorites: Rene higuita. The master of the scorpion kick. The man scored 49 goals 🤣🤣🤣

IU wins another B1G Men's Soccer title with today's 4-1 win over Rutger.

Saw the highlights of the Maryland game. I was yelling at YouTube.

Are they playing feckin' volleyball? Why do they always have to cross the ball every time -- set play or otherwise?

Christ on a stick, try and keep the ball on the ground every now & then. Try this radical idea of triangles or third-man movements or running into space. Try passing to your team-mate's feet for once or its illegal to do so? Dont have to launch the ball into the air at every opportunity.

Its like watching the Air Force.

Does Yeagley still have black & white TVs at home? Its not the 1970s.

Someone needs to sponsor an overseas trip and get some modern football/soccer coaching into him.

How are these players supposed to try to make a living in the MLS pro league, never mind Europe?

Its the reverse of what TJD said of Woodie.

I need a drink now -- watched all 20mins of the video but was yelling 10mins of the time.

Yeah, they've had their challenges this year. Hopefully getting it together here at the right time.

I dont understand why Yeagley doesnt upgrade his soccer philosophy is he wants to help his players get to the Big Leagues. Its honestly criminal.

Its like watching folks fight in trenches versus more asymmetrical .

They are scoring much better than the first month of the season. Defense and golakeeping have been pretty solid all year, which will keep them in most matches.

it still works in the big ten and enough really good american players go to IU that can go on to play mls at league minimum. but the big ten conference at this time is just an awful conference. acc is still obviously the premier conference but with foreign players taking over a conf like the sun belt blows the big ten out of the water in quality. hell 3 of the top 7 teams. i think top american players now will skip college and go the mls 2 path and try to become homegrown players

Any enlightened or ambitious players wouldn't want to play for Yeagley or assistant coaches. It's just nuts.

I started bitching about this a few years ago. But clearly, Yeagley doesn't watch European matches to find out how the game has progressed. I have never seen the ball launched into the air so often since the 70s.

Its killing or restricting any interest in the sport at IU..

Pep would lose his pubes (the only hairs he's got left) watching Yeagley coach.

I really wonder if Yeagley has even heard of Pep -- not to say Pep's the only way to play ball.

I can't believe how awful Maryland was this year: 0 victories in the conference-that really hurts the league. Hopefully, UCLA and Washington will improve the quality of play next year.

let me say it then. PEP IS THE ONLY WAY TO PLAY BALL. WOOOHOOOOOO. if you watch that welcome to wrexham there's a funny interview with the old premier keeper foster who plays goal for them now at the spritely age of 68 or something. anyway he said it is soooooooooooo hard playing gk at the wrexham level. the ball is just constantly flying into the box lol

Smart. Ajax is a good place at that age. That’s where our boy zlatan was at that age. My fav Ibro story will always be when he got to LA Lebron welcomed him by sending him a James laker jersey. Ibro autographed it and mailed it back 🤣
