But somehow he fell through. And he’s tiny. And doesn’t look right out there. He does Barca things. Tbf I have not watched too much college soccer for a few years. I just can't unseen what I witnessed back then. I can feel my BP rise just remembering flashes of it. PTSD now.
I suspect from what I saw back then, that the soccer coaches are failed high school football coaches.
It is all about gaining territories. Wide receivers are their wingers. Goalies are the quarterbacks.

He just keeps getting better. Just signed an extension through 2026 and loves Cincinnati. Has said he plans to stay after he’s done playing. He’s trying to gain US citizenship and wants to play for the US. Has a green card so he qualifies as a domestic player in MLS. He’s also only 5’3”.

I think Napoli is asking for £140million for the transfer fee plus then his wage, £200+k/week.
We were looking at him but Napoli's owner/chairman refused to let him go last summer. Also I think he was a boyhood fan.

The other player I like at Napoli is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. But we have too many players in that position.

That was a weird deal. He missed four or five straight games and they never really said the issue. Scar tissue. Fatigue. Just kind of strange. Yet now he’s going to play for Argentina.

The time difference/jet lag would give the main group of teams, assuming the Mediterranean-based teams --- an unfair advantage.
Logistical nightmare. Teams won't have a consistent base to train.
Also, in the past, the smaller teams would have an adopted 'home' town/city so they have some sort of 'local' support at the stadiums.
Shifting them around would kill all that.
I watched the first three episodes of the Messi meets America doc last night. It was terrible. Just a commercial for apple and mls.
