What would be awesome. Get rid of mls. Bring back the NASL. North American Soccer League. Us. Mexico and Canada. Relegation. Travel would be rough

Berhalter? That’s dumb. I don’t care about his personal stuff or the Reyna junk we just need a better coach. The players are better than the coach.
They hired an outside firm who advised them to hire the previous guy. Make that make sense.
Or. No real coach would stoop to answering to this clown show of a federation.
They’ve had more success under Berhalter than anyone for many many years. Don’t screw up a good thing

Talent is one thing but coaching.... 😨
I was going to suggest the same thing, that they likely tried a few coaches and got turned down, and resorted back to Berhalter.
I hope he was made to realize that he can’t leave Reyna on the sidelines, even if the kid was having a brat moment. Maybe he’s a genius, and playing the super long game, but I have my doubts. Even so, there’s no guarantee he’ll still be the coach when the next WC comes around.
Or they stop selecting over the hill, old philosophy type star coaches. See above ... Like woodie 22/23 basketball approach equivalent.
But the reality is that they need to start at the grassroots. Or even college level...starting with IU! I cringe every time I watch them play and in parallel my BP raises.

As a coach and in identifying players. That said there are some epic stories about him showing up to play in men’s leagues in calif before he was coach and people not knowing who he was. “I like to play up top if okay”

Reyna and Berhalter are going to have to figure out how to get along. He's way too good to leave off the roster... And damn we have a fast front line now including a finisher... Our left back was a bit shaky at times last night but with Zimmerman anchoring the back line this team has a chance to be really really good in the coming years.
Annex them?!? Then it would be OUR smoke! We need to build a wall; one tall enough that it blocks the smoke. And we'll make Canada pay for it.

Will be interesting. One of the best midfielders ever. Maybe the best holding ever to play. The speed and frenetic play is going to be an eye opener for these guys who are getting long in the tooth
I think so. I guess it’s a little over five mil cap with tiers of what players can be paid. Then 3 guys you can pay whatever you want and they don’t count against cap. I think
I think that’s correct. Apparently Inter has two guys they’ll have to do something about.
