@larsIU

Looks like Jassim is pulling out the big gun on the Glazers.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi is probably the most powerful man in football right now. I guess Jassim had problems trying to convince the Glazers and their bankers that his proposal is real and that he has the funds. Apparently some former high ranking WH official wasn't enough.

Plus apparently the A class shareholders ie those on the NYSE -- mainly hedge funds are looking into taking legal action against the glaxers if the accept the Ratcliffe bid.
His proposal only buys 50.1% which then makes those A class shares on the NYSE basically vanity investment and have minimal value..... Instead of hundreds of millions in profits for some judge funds. That's why jassim always insisted on buying 100%... A message yo the hedge funds.

So jassim is tightening the noose.

So I’m thinking Messi never comes to stl. July 15 they play here. The only time they play each other. To play in that inter league thing with Mexico inter and Stl would have to meet in the final. Not happening. Next year Stl would play at Miami. So that’s it. Regardless of what that contract says I predict next season is the only one Messi plays. He’s going to hate this shit

I suspect you are correct re next season is it.

Think Messi will fly Sun Country Airlines with the team? LOL If he gets a wild hare up his ass and does, that plane would likely fly almost directly over my house. They use the small municipal airport about 5 miles from my house, which is a bit comical as their planes (737-900ER) seem comically large for the airport. Below is the terminal; though I doubt they would ever use it since the only thing there is an old restaurant (which is actually pretty good). It's like going back in time to the 1930s.

Inter Miami scrambling to find players. They’re awful. Adding Messi to that and still losing won’t be fun
