it'll be interesting. noodle i've play on teams where D1 was the lowest level a guy on the team played. all old pros and a handful of former world cup players. we've played teams that were almost 20 years younger and all former D3 players and lost. the ability to run for 90 minutes is a big deal

okay more mls bitching. i don't like how almost all the games are on saturday night. what's more the majority are at the same time. i don't think that's good for building viewership. people are often doing things on sat night. i think the schedule should be broken up. play more weeknight games. more saturday noon games etc. altho i get summer can be hot

Oh and this/nest week, you have games on Saturday night (at 3 different times), a game on Sunday, 5 games next Tuesday (at 4 different times), and one game next Wednesday. Quit your bitching.
Now, one bitch I have is that if you want to start a game later than the actual start time, you can do that with the MLS package on Apple. However, it ALWAYS shows you the score of the game at that moment. So, if I sit down to watch a game 15 minutes late, and it tells me the score is 0-0, what kind of lunatic is going to sit through the first 15 minutes knowing that no one is going to score a goal?!?
I know he fits the style ETH wants to play but he wil be 30 in a few weeks time. Got another 2 seasons max at this level? Rather spend the money on someone younger. Plus having to deal with Levy at spurs is a nightmare. The negotiation will dragged out till the last day of the window.

speaking of young talent you'll appreciate this. i'm packing my boy's soccer bag as we speak for after work/school tomorrow. we go straight to his second organized practice. kid is a stud. and i really mean that. barely over two and can flat out dribble. pass the ball. trap it. super physically strong. kid's a little stud. last week was his first practice. i was so amped to take him. he got there and immediately laid down on his back on the ground right in the center of hte field and refused to get up. then when he finally got up he refused to play. he just followed the coach around, holding her hand. turning his back on the play. then when he saw his mom and i in the crowd he had a total meltdown and wanted off the field. it got so bad his mom and i had to hide behind the concessions. we didn't even see the last fifteen minutes. it was just brutal. week two tomorrow...fing hell
Daughter changed clubs this year. Decent athlete. Has never loved it in a romantic sense. Drives me crazy sometimes.
