I'm generally on your side. I think alcohol is much less dangerous than weed and I support legalizing it. I can't smoke it now because I'm in the military but back when I did I know that I wouldn't have been a good driver when stoned. I wouldn't be good at flying a plane or operating dangerous equipment or weapons either. I can easily see someone high getting into accidents while high. We have good reasons for not allowing military personnel that could be operating dangerous equipment and weapons not to smoke it. As much as I enjoyed it I'm totally for the military's zero tolerance policy on it until we have a good way to determine if someone is currently stoned or not. I support legalizing it but let's not pretend there are zero negative consequences of people smoking it.
