Crack your own bond market and currency. Possibly the global economy. Then turn around over the weekend and exempt everything?

So he's accomplished nothing and the China tarrifs itself are a farce.

All talk per usual.

360D chess. Damage yourself while you've accomplished nothing.

I wonder how much Best Buy had to "donate" for this.

All worth it to stop wokeness and trannies.

I like to think of him as the Dildo-in-Chief. Quick to vibrate, quick to cap(itulate).

One of the only issues I generally agree with (R) on is illegal immigration. Do the math on how many you need to deport per day to reach the 20M+ illegal immigrants in this country. I'm not sure they've even deported 50k total yet. They barely talk about it in the news now. Unless you setup up camps and tents and are rounding up by the thousands per day it's another unserious effort. Last I heard he was saying he wants to start giving exemptions to illegals if their boss writes a nice letter. All talk. But then again he employed illegals himself. We have two extremely corrupt political parties only separating themselves by their degrees of corruption.

The biggest problem is that Obama already deported a gazillion of them. Probably the worst offenders in terms of Trump‘s vitriol.

Maybe some of them. Unfortunately we were a magnet for losers from all over the world under Biden. Venezuela hasn't been this safe in 20 years because they were giving us all of their murderers, rapists, and mentally deranged. I can't stand Trump or his hyperbole, but the immigration situation was ugly.

And that's probably close to 30% of China exports to US. Trump is floundering more than what's seen in the Asian fish market.

But simply put, the man does not know what he's doing in the job. Not to worry though because he tells us Xi loves him. China should send more love letters to him, thanking him for lunch, because they are eating his more and more often. This isn't even hard to understand either, and Trump is acting like a toddler pushing buttons on a new toy and then constantly hitting the reset button.

While it's fun watching MAGA twist themselves in knots with this, we're only weakening ourselves in the global economy not even acting remotely like we know what we're doing. Trump is doing his best to give more global integrity and trade leverage power to China.

I was wondering what was going to happen to the price of already exorbitantly expensive iPhones…

I've read the phones assembled in China, where almost all of our iPhones come from, have parts from many countries.

To assemble them in the U.S. would take years to build factories and develope a supply system. It's been estimated the cost of the phones assembled in the U.S. ultimately would be at least $3, 500, but most likely much higher.

I imagine this will all be revoked within a short time frame. Or at least greatly reduced. More you dig in, more it's obvious would be economic calamity and drive a bunch of smaller US businesses into bankruptcy very quickly.

China is investing heavily in infrastructure in Africa. The raw materials needed to produce semiconductors, cobalt and lithium are mined in Africa.

Taiwan produces 98% of nanochips. South Korea the other 2%

China is a threat and needs to be demolished. We are in WW3. 5G warfare.

Why don't we invest in Africa instead of ending up in a combative war with China because it outsmarted us by recognizing the investment opportunities in places such as Africa?

I have no idea. We know this, well the more intuned.

The politicians we are forced to vote for have to have something in the game we don't know about.

My BS is in Biology. My course was a pre-med program. I have an understanding of competition. China is playing the long game.

Not trying to bring race in to it but Caucasians have been building civilizations for about 400 years.

The rest of the world has a lot more experience. 1000s of years worth.

In other words, those countries that mumbled, uh hm uh hm, and wait patiently will be fine.

Magna Carta, 1215. Greeks and Romans came long before that and they’re considered Caucasian.

And they say liberals are the unhappy ones.

Could be wrong, but Trump never struck me as a happy camper. Say this knowing fellow Coolerites, whose opinions I respect, see him as a positive person with a clever humor they relish.

Having said that, anger can be a positive force in making changes to circumstances which a person deems absolutely necessary.

However (1), the changes may not be a sound solution.

However (2). no way anger is a positive force, IMO, if it involves personal revenge against people who made life miserable in the past. Just better to move on and forget your petty grievances.
