I agree with you that our defense has played well enough against a potent Kiffin offense. Ole Miss scored 48 points at LSU without their top two receivers and their top running back was injured and taken out of that game in December. Our offense is being run by our number 2 QB who has not been able to practice nearly as much as Ole Miss due to Covid. Purdue game canceled twice. Our timing was not going to be as sharp in the passing game. You are right that we probably should have relied more on our running game which has not been as strong as it has been in recent years.This is a joke right?? This Ole Miss O is one of the best in the country. Holding them to 13 was admirable. Considering they were out there for probably 20 of the 30 minutes. The O with Sheridan forcing the ball on passes that aren't there when we can run against one of the worst D's needed to be exploited.
