MSNBC is gushing, of course. Switched to PBS and they're sounding much more analytic.I'm watching Fox News, and even though they are trying to criticize him, they are having a hard time with it.

I can't really do MSNBC anymore. Not even Rachel. The Presidential palace in Kyiv could be on fire, and they'd be interviewing fifteen people about how soon Trump is going to be arrested. I'm over it.MSNBC is gushing, of course. Switched to PBS and they're sounding much more analytic.
LOL. MSNBC? Are they still around?MSNBC is gushing, of course. Switched to PBS and they're sounding much more analytic.
I'm thinking that's one reason Rachel has taken a hiatus. I think even she felt she needed to get away from the all Trump, all the time environment.I can't really do MSNBC anymore. Not even Rachel. Amna Navas is looking fine too.MSNBC is gushing, of course. Switched to PBS and they're sounding much more analytic.
Governor Reynolds isn't making a rebuttal, she's just rattling off "Biden is awful" talking points. That's all these "rebuttals" ever are, no matter which side.goat do you believe in the televised rebuttal? really makes no sense to me, why are only 2 parties allowed in the process? also causes more division.
It's almost like they write the rebuttal before they bother to read the speech itself that was released like 12 hours ago.Governor Reynolds isn't making a rebuttal, she's just rattling off "Biden is awful" talking points. That's all these "rebuttals" ever are, no matter which side.
And his tone throughout was excellent imoTwo compliments: the speech was fairly nonpartisan.we haven’t heard that in awhile and was nice to hear.
Second: Kudos to Republicans who stood up and clapped on things they agreed with.
Everyone behaved like adults tonight. A pleasant surprise....
Of course they do. They've been working on this as long as Joe has. It's not a rebuttal, it's equal time. It's almost like they write the rebuttal before they bother to read the speech itself that was released like 12 hours ago.
I don't want to keep harping on how low my expectations were, but it really was a surprisingly good performance. And his tone throughout was excellent imo
Politics 101. Rather like the basketball polls/rankings. All that matters is the scoreboard . . . And Biden/Pelosi are likely to get a shellacking.Governor Reynolds isn't making a rebuttal, she's just rattling off "Biden is awful" talking points. You might be a little quick on that. It was a solid speech with a lot of bipartisan support. Your reference to Pelosi suggests you might be stepping out of bounds, too, since she had nothing to do with it.Politics 101. Rather like the basketball polls/rankings. Well, Putin has to walk around the Kremlin wary of someone putting a bullet in the back of his head.Putin was scheduled to give the rebuttal, but had to cancel. I couldn’t help myself, I’ll self-delete.
I don't agree with his take on inflation and how to reduce it; the oil release is a drop; but overall there was a lot to like for guys like me who have hated what I've seen from this admin thus far: borders, guns, police, prescription drugs, cancer, Putin, etc. And he himself sounded strong and sharp.I don't want to keep harping on how low my expectations were, but it really was a surprisingly good performance.
I self-deleted but you kept it aliveWell, Putin has to walk around the Kremlin wary of someone putting a bullet in the back of his head.
I don't get the Tesla reference, but I did notice every single bit that you would like. I think I mentioned most of them in real time when they happened.I don't agree with his take on inflation and how to reduce it; the oil release is a drop; but overall there was a lot to like for guys like me who have hated what I've seen from this admin thus far: borders, guns, police, prescription drugs, cancer, Putin, etc. And he himself sounded strong and sharp.
One personal pet peeve. Does he just hate Musk? Why doesn't he ever include Tesla? Is it animus or old gov beholden to Ford etc
That’s the sophisticated way of “self deleting “I self-deleted but you kept it alive
man!
I just wanted to put it out there that I think there’s a serious likelihood Putin won’t survive this massive mistake.I self-deleted but you kept it alive

The best thing for the planet would be for one of his generals to put one in the back of his brain.I just wanted to put it out there that I think there’s a serious likelihood Putin won’t survive this massive mistake.
I hope you’re right, but I don’t see it. I worry more about what Putin might do militarily if he thinks that’s a likelihood.I just wanted to put it out there that I think there’s a serious likelihood Putin won’t survive this massive mistake.
Who is in a position to do the "offing"?I just wanted to put it out there that I think there’s a serious likelihood Putin won’t survive this massive mistake.
I think it has got to be a loner. Too risky to plan it with somebody else who might fink on you.Who is in a position to do the "offing"?
If the reports are true that Russian tankers are puncturing their fuel cells then what must their leadership be thinking and planning?I hope you’re right, but I don’t see it. I worry more about what Putin might do militarily if he thinks that’s a likelihood.
WatchingUncle Mark alert: AOC on Rachel.

I’m not sure, but I think Putin has a tight grip on any other “leaders” in Russia. If the reports are true that Russian tankers are puncturing their fuel cells then what must their leadership be thinking and planning?
I know and I get that. It's also the largest EV company in the world.Tesla is a non-Union shop.
Musk and Biden are in a little feud. Mostly Musk on Twitter.I don't agree with his take on inflation and how to reduce it; the oil release is a drop; but overall there was a lot to like for guys like me who have hated what I've seen from this admin thus far: borders, guns, police, prescription drugs, cancer, Putin, etc. And he himself sounded strong and sharp.

Was it bipartisan? Or was it a lesson in what sanity looks like for his super-progressive non-serious democratic colleagues?Well, damn. There was, I guess, a few bits of Democratic red meat thrown in there, but that was a very bipartisan, unity-focused speech. And he delivered it well. I wasn't sure he really had that in him. It was impressive. Lots of vague platitudes, as you'd expect from anything bipartisan, but still impressive.
I bailed when he said to not see Covid as a partisan dividing line. I didn’t want to shop for a new TV tomorrow. And his tone throughout was excellent imo
He needs a MyPillow guy.Who is in a position to do the "offing"?
Let’s leave our plan on not starting WW3 to those of us who have to live on this planet for 50 more years please.I bailed when he said to not see Covid as a partisan dividing line. I didn’t want to shop for a new TV tomorrow.
From what I saw, I don’t think he rose to the occasion about Ukraine. Announced stuff that the rest of the fee world already did—banning Aeroflot. And dip in to oil reserves? WTF is that? The rest sounded like he was going through a checklist. His delivery was fine.
?Let’s leave our plan on not starting WW3 to those of us who have to live on this planet for 50 more years please.
8-month old (today) kid takes too much of my energy to have a serious discussion lately so I have to resort to mindless trolling the trolls.I saw that. Thanks for the cleanup. I think @IUclover was collateral damage.
