Before everything changed and people stopped working in our office, we had a happy hour every Thursday. My job was the alcohol guy. I kept the beer fridge stocked, liquor in the cabinet and wine in appropriate places. Seems like an entirely different century now.
Best job I ever had.
During college, I worked at a tire shop part time where they would go to the liquor store everyday once 4:30 hit.
It was common to go to work at 8 on a Friday and not leave until 3 am Saturday.
My buddy, who also worked there, did a little to much drinking one night and ashed his black and mild in the foam fill room, which caused a quarter of the room to go up in flames. Thank God there was a fire extinguisher there. Next week, no one was allowed to smoke in that room (no limit was put on the drinking 😂).
How do you claim the high ground when you do you exactly what you accuse the other side of doing?
