Senior speeches

I don’t think this necessarily signals anything one way or the other, just that IU plans on acknowledging two guys who wouldn’t have a chance at another year under normal circumstances. Both are in their 5th year of college. I feel the university is treating Phin, Kopp, XJ, and Durr as juniors and not seniors.

That’s what I’m going to keep telling myself anyway.

Lol. really only text Parker and X. Parker lost his dad around the same time I did, and he is an amazing human being. I’ll help him in whatever way I can for the rest of my life.
My comment was all in good fun. Glad you took it that way.

I've had my dad for over 50 years. Can't imagine losing him now, let alone in my early 20s. It's probably good for both of you to connect.

For sure. I don’t think people have any idea what he is going through. He has a younger sister (like me) and is a mommas boy at heart (like me). He has become the man of the family and put a lot on his shoulders. I respect the living shit out of that.

Glad you can provide him some support; he seems like a great kid.

If he needs any bulletin board material for his upcoming game at pu, have him look at GBI where posters including your old buddy ordfan are calling Parker and Race "thugs" and at IU because of "low academic standards" where they can "get in".

Based on every comment he's ever made on the subject, Leal isn't going anywhere.

That is a line-up devoid of shooters & lack of size!

Right. I heard Ivey's pulling a 4.0 in Chemical Engineering. Trevion's also already graduated with a Bachelor's in Fast Food Management, so he doesn't really need basketball.

How could I have forgotten about SPEA???
You two are clowns. Go disparage something you actually know something about.

O'Neill is one of the top schools of its kind in the world at this point in time.

My nephew has a SPEA degree from O'neill. He just turned 40 and earns about $140k annually in environmental management for a Fortune 500 company. He's been with them for about 15 years. I think he feels like he's done OK. His sister has a degree from Kelley SOB in accounting and he out-earns her - something he doesn't let her forget.

There are a range of disciplines within O'Neill with a range of intensity. IU SPEA is among the elite schools globally for Healthcare Operations, Environmental sustainability and public planning. Twenty years ago it was a place for kids that could not get into Kelley, but today it is a destination.

From 1989-1993 it was, as you said, for those who couldn't get into business school.... Didn't mean to offend anyone. Touchy touchy people
