Brown's admitted it. She hasn't denied it. The age matters as evidence for why she'd date someone like that when she is in her prime and smoking hot, but I don't need it to pass courtroom evidentiary standards. I'm consistent on this stuff though--I think Melania married Trump for his money even though I don't have "proof."
I don't think it's disqualifying, though, and have been pretty consistent on that across threads. Right now, I'm just talking about it in a different way--like how do we as normal people view these types of relationships. Re this isn't a substantive criticism, I think you're wrong because it's an issue of her playing in the dirty game of patronage politics (which I'm guessing you're not a fan of, either):
“It’s politics as usual,” said Robert M. Stern, co-director of the Center for Governmental Studies, a nonprofit group in Los Angeles. “Governors have done this in the past. This is a tradition the Speaker is carrying on. There are always outcries. People say it is wrong, and when they get in power they do the same thing.”
Assembly Speaker Willie Brown, continuing his rush to hand out patronage jobs while he retains his powerful post, has given high-paying appointments to his former law associate and a former Alameda County prosecutor who is Brown's frequent companion.

I'm meh on Harris. I just hate the pumping up of her. She's a typical politician. She's not an idealistic, do-gooder (AOC), or someone who took a stand on an unpopular at the time issue and stuck with it (Obama), and she's not authentic (Bernie). But her IQ is sufficient to be a good president if she were to implement the right policies. She wouldn't crack my Top 5 for people I'd like to see on the Dem ticket, though.
