Carsen is better and is a senior to Romeo being just a freshman. Regardless, Romeo is a one and done top 5 NBA lottery pick and that has nothing to do with what the IU fan base thinks. Or what you think.

I get that NBA drafts on potential, but it seems dumb to me. Oh well, I don’t really get basketball, more of a wrestling fan. Also of which Purdue is better at than IU
Only at Indiana do we crow about our player's future draft prospects/money, while they get embarrassed by Purdue/Wisc/Iowa/Neb 3 star role players.

Well you have to remember that Romeo has been averaging 21 ppg in the B1G and you can’t use this one game as a fair comparison. Besides, Romeo is just a freshman.

Look, the BMI of all college kids has risen if late. It is noticeable even at IU.
There are great looking women at PU, there are the other type everywhere at PU. There are the other type at IU and there are great looking women everywhere at IU. It is what it is and has been for longer than I have bee around.
Carsen is a great player but nobody knows anything about him. I don't even know where he is from. Such different experience than the IU player has.

Carsen Edwards is not a top NBA 1st round talent. You watched a college game. NBA game is much different.

Does it really matter if Purdue fans are "good with" Painter?
Were IU fans "good with" Crean? Sampson? Clearly, some are not "good with" Archie.
It doesn't really matter. It is what it is, and will be what it will be. In the long run I hope Archie builds the IU program like Painter has built Purdue... with quality young men who grow, get better, make their fans proud, win a lot of games, and put themselves in a position to have success in the tournament.
But I was told Romeo would be a LEGEND after one year by dozens of posters on here.
And I was told it was disrespectful to Romeo to compare him to Eric Gordon. The same guy who led the Big Ten in scoring. I was told that’s a criticism of Romeo’s talent.

By the way, almost no IU fans in Mackey today, and the ones who showed up were quiet and compliant. There will be a few thousand in Gold and Black in Assembly Hall when we meet next, especially if there continue to be thousands of empty seats from the larger and larger number of disgruntled fans. Not the 20,000 who were in the BirdPoop Bowl in November when we kept the Bucket, but there will be many. Following a loser is tough, so we’ll have plenty of tickets to choose from.

PU is not exactly a guarantee to make the NCAA's, are they? Not like Painter would do anything, anyways. PU fans never show up to Assembly Hall.
Iu is not even in Kentucky’s top 5 of rivals. The crowd at Mackey today was good but it’s been way louder for games the last few years against MSU, Michigan, and Wisconsin. I wish Purdue would promote another school as its top rival as this one has lost its luster. Not really a rivalry anymore.
