It's not just an income tax investigation. The feds in Delaware are reportedly also investigating Hunter for money laundering and acting as an unregistered foreign agent.

The US Attorney in Delaware is a Trump appointee. While new presidents usually replace top federal prosecutors, Biden left this guy in place to avoid any appearance of interfering with the investigation.

It's likely that Hunter (whose life, sadly, has been a mess) will be indicted. As for his father, the joint venture with a Chinese energy company contemplated in a 2017 email from a Hunter business associate, where the "Big Guy" was to receive a 10% cut, never was created. There's no evidence any money from the Chinese company went to Joe. Also of note, the Big Guy was a private citizen then. It's highly doubtful the elder Biden is a subject or target of the investigation.

Listen to my point that I was probably doing a lousy job of making while spending a day out on a lake in the sun:

- it’s bullshit that Hunter Biden is under only a tax investigation when there are videos of him doing insane things and implicating his dad in payments from adversary governments
- were this trump - whom I hate - this would be the number one story on 75% of mass media

If you were ok with the big-eyed Schiff farce hearings, you should be clamoring for a full investigation of the Biden family dealings with foreign governments and companies - especially when there are verified emails on a verified laptop that was covered up by the media in 2020.

Yeah, I misunderstood you. I don't remember any Steele/Adam Schiff stuff. I generally avoid oversight hearings because they are usually nothing but political theater. And I never viewed the Steele dossier as anything more than fascinating gossip. Certainly gossip that should be investigated, but it should have been investigated by the FBI/CIA, not Congress. Same with the Hunter stuff. I'll wait to see what DOJ does with it before I worry too much about it.

I commented (correctly) that many people have accused him of sexual misconduct. Those examples of misconduct have included allegations of infidelity, sexual assault, or rape. He has also paid off certain accusors for his alleged misconduct.

I did not say that he paid off women he had raped, specifically. I said that he paid off women who have accused him of sexual misconduct.
