That’s a start.
I know you get a chubby over Trump power and going on a revenge tour, but Mitch is at a good point to retire. More should join him, including Biden and Trump.
And Ronna McDaniel is getting a new job, as The DNC Chairperson, given her extensive experience getting Republicans defeated - per The Bee.
He can certainly run in 2026.Can the dems get Andy Beshear to take his seat?
Can the dems get Andy Beshear to take his seat?
Next to Trump, the most vile politician in my memory.
Mitch is like the college basketball player you hate on the other team but love on your team. Mitch could get his way by throwing some sharp elbows.Next to Trump, the most vile politician in my memory.
not me, I hate him and wouldn't want him on my team.Mitch is like the college basketball player you hate on the other team but love on your team. Mitch could get his way by throwing some sharp elbows.
President Kamela?That’s a start.
Everybody else over 65 in the Legislative and Executive branches should resign today.
Rand Paul is worse, IMONext to Trump, the most vile politician in my memory.
When it comes to political abilities, Mitch is in many ways the Senate/GOP version of Pelosi.Mitch is like the college basketball player you hate on the other team but love on your team. Mitch could get his way by throwing some sharp elbows.
She’s headed for her true destiny - running a t-shirt shop in south Texas.President Kamela?
Trumpers need to slow their roll. The Senate is not bullied as easily as the House is. It's unlikely they get their choice.
I'd be shocked if it were anyone else. Will be either Thune or Cornyn I would imagine.
You mean he's not a deep state sellout? Who knew.Rand Paul is worse, IMO
True that. He was a smooth, calculated operator, but alas, his time had come. Dbm is kidding himself. He'll be back here bitching about Cornyn this time next year. When it comes to political abilities, Mitch is in many ways the Senate/GOP version of Pelosi.
If it's Cornyn or Thune yes we're doomed. We've made a lot of progress but still plenty of RINOS left. Rick Scott might be a good compromise.True that. He was a smooth, calculated operator, but alas, his time had come. Dbm is kidding himself. He'll be back here bitching about Cornyn this time next year.
Compromise with whom? There is no need to compromise. If it's Cornyn or Thune yes we're doomed. We've made a lot of progress but still plenty of RINOS left. Rick Scott might be a good compromise.
I say Rand Paul is worse because he's actually a very smart guy, by all appearances. But then he checks his brain at the door to adopt silly positions to appeal to his fanboys like you.You mean he's not a deep state sellout? Who knew.
I'm pretty sure Rand Paul is a true believer in every weird thing he does.I say Rand Paul is worse because he's actually a very smart guy, by all appearances. But then he checks his brain at the door to adopt silly positions to appeal to his fanboys like you.

lol….of course you think one of the few fiscal conservatives left is the worseRand Paul is worse, IMO
I suppose that's possible. It's a shame that someone intelligent enough to get an MD degree from Duke would still buy into so many kooky beliefs, even some that are medically related and decidedly un-scientific. I have met some doctors that are just totally not into any of the science behind their profession, though. Doctors leaning toward so-called "alternative medicine". If alternative medicine worked, we'd just call it "medicine"I'm pretty sure Rand Paul is a true believer in every weird thing he does.
I have no problems at all with his fiscal conservativism. I wish more politicians were like him and there was a discussion of how to pay for everything approved, including how to pay for social security in the long term and how to handle our expensive job as policeman of the world.lol….of course you think one of the few fiscal conservatives left is the worse
Rand hated mask theatre and the fact that Fauci was a weaselly lying piece of shit.lol….of course you think one of the few fiscal conservatives left is the worse
Isn't Rick Scott the bug eyed guy who looks like Nosferatu from the silent film? If so he would be on brand to follow McConnell.Compromise with whom? There is no need to compromise.
That’s rich coming from you. 🤣🤣🤣I have no problems at all with his fiscal conservativism. I wish more politicians were like him and there was a discussion of how to pay for everything approved, including how to pay for social security in the long term and how to handle our expensive job as policeman of the world.
It was his kooky COVID-related rants that soured me on the guy.
Did your memory forget Harry Reid?Next to Trump, the most vile politician in my memory.
That's a really good - and apt - comparison. Both are/were masters at navigating DC politics. I'm sure there are folks waiting in the wings, but I honestly can't think of people on either side of the aisle that are as good at traditional politics as those two have been. When it comes to political abilities, Mitch is in many ways the Senate/GOP version of Pelosi.
I don't get why the Mitch haters can't see that the SCOTUS would be a helluva lot more 'progressive' with him.True that. He was a smooth, calculated operator, but alas, his time had come. Dbm is kidding himself. He'll be back here bitching about Cornyn this time next year.
So you're saying you're Rand Paul?I say Rand Paul is worse because he's actually a very smart guy, by all appearances. But then he checks his brain at the door to adopt silly positions to appeal to his fanboys like you.
The Republican party has an infection. Self-promotion, purity tests and projection currently rule the roost in the House. They can't coalesce behind anything and of course the slim and growing slimmer majority makes matters even worse.I don't get why the Mitch haters can't see that the SCOTUS would be a helluva lot more 'progressive' with him.
No one bats 1.000, but Mitch has overall been a good Republican leader in the Senate.
I couldn't agree more. I don't know why more can't see it.The Republican party has an infection. Self-promotion, purity tests and projection currently rule the roost in the House. They can't coalesce behind anything and of course the slim and growing slimmer majority makes matters even worse.
If they let the same thing happen in the Senate they'll be in for a world of hurt.
That's not to say the house should have passed the de facto amnesty bill of course.
