I tire of seeing and hearing all from a team standpoint.
To all media, I will not be doing anymore interviews. No more circus. To clarify my post: I do not have first hand knowledge of the incident that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford mentions, and I stand by my support for Christine. That's it. I don't have more to say on the subject.

Miranda said staff from the Senate Judiciary Committee had reached out to her, something she was not expecting. She said she will not go through with a committee interview if asked.

Ford also might have the ability to go to local police to investigate if the White House refuses to activate the FBI. The Hill reports: “Can Brett Kavanaugh be investigated for an attempted rape he allegedly committed over three decades ago? In Maryland, it’s entirely possible under the law, according to some experts. Now members of the American public are calling for Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh to open an investigation, especially if the FBI doesn’t.” That would be a process over which neither the Senate nor the Trump administration would have any control.

Oh please. Spare the sanctimony on this one. She has freely admitted that she knows nothing and isn't going to talk to anyone about it. Whatever IT is. Which by her own admission is, once more, nothing.

As Kavanaugh’s approval rating slides, Republicans need to consider whether it is worth unleashing a firestorm to defend a nominee who might be a further drag on their midterm races.
I’m not the mind reader here. I’m the guy saying there should be an investigation to determine what the facts are.
Except Ford said it happened during the summer. How could there be buzz at school if that’s the case?

And I agreed. And this particular woman was contacted by the subcommittee to inquire as to what information she has. She's uninterested in speaking with them. If she has information, then why won't she share it with anyone other than her Facebook crowd? You're free to come to any conclusion that you wish. My conclusion is, as I said, that she knows nothing.
One doesn't need to be a mind reader. Just not being purposely obtuse is sufficient.
So are we. We just disagree on how that should start. The FBI looked over the letter and said, not us. The Senate provides advice and consent on these matters and has investigative abilities. If she wants this looked at, she needs to start there.
Let me emphasize again that this is stupid and wrong:
(1) There are both unknowns and possible conflicts among the sources.
(2) Therefore there should be no investigation.

Senate Republicans say that, come hell or high water, consideration of Ford”s allegations will close on Monday without any investigation. Are you somehow unaware of this, or are you being dishonest?
Of course she isn’t interested in becoming part of the spectacle and subjecting herself to scrutiny and abuse. Who would be?
Her public comments suggest she knows little. But an investigation would gather many small pieces of information to tell a larger story.

She does not get to pick how the matter is investigated. That is not how it works. If she takes her ball and goes home, that is on her. If she wants to be heard, Grassley has given her several options that range from private to really not private. She is not getting the FBI until the Senators get a chance to talk to her. That is precedent.
If she refuse to talk, they are not obligated to wait forever.
Hopefully AG Brian Frosh is a professional and not a political hack. Because a criminal inquiry is absurd.

Please see references on how often false charges are made by women ( hint: not often). People just chiming it without any facts or reading what has already been written is annoying.
