I get the difference in the nature of nights, but I doubt anything happens differently those nights than on other nights. They don't try to convert you. They don't make out in front of you...well...maybe some do, but no different than a hetero couple might.
You think Pride night is thrown in your face, but the other nights aren't. I'm contending none of them are thrown in your face any more or any less than others.

I'm all for gay rights. i'm all for gays living any way they wish. i'm all for black lives mattering and enjoying equality of opportunity through whatever changes are required. pride night is of a different nature than the other sponsored nights and having rainbow uniforms is shoving it in the faces of those in the stands. as is blm on a basketball court. as is making nhl players wear rainbow jerseys, hence the backlash.
