If the virus "leaked" from the lab (which is a plausible hypothesis, in the abstract), the leak must have involved infecting a great many people at the market and infecting virtually nobody living in and around the Virology Institute. This set of facts makes the hypothesis highly implausible. Nobody can explain the spread pattern. I suppose you can argue that the Chinese are lying about the spread pattern, but we also have reports from the doctors that died in the early days, at hospitals that indeed were practically next door to the market.
This can easily be explained by something as simple as shopping for critters at the market on the way home & then to the kids soccer game. They weren't that off really. A lot of Trump voters stayed home. It's a problem the Republican Party has to figure out as there are millions of Trump only voters out there. Also the Dems ballot harvesting operation is a light years. Votes don't matter anymore. It's all about ballots.
