So I found out today......

Thanks for checking in….i don’t want to make this a long post so I’ll just say it went enough. Assuming he medically clears he may opt to just take his name off the door and get malpractice insurance for himself. He’s def not interested in hanging it up. He was never angry when we told him, he said he was a big boy and could handle this meeting. So that’s what he did. This will continue to be a fluid situation.
Sounds exactly like my super hard headed old man. Never give up, never slow down, never let up, never go down. He was 71 when he decided to go into the fire wood business.
Now one could argue that the $45k skid loader, the $35k wood processor, the $10k deliver truck, the $5k in chain saws in ever GD size available (with super charged engine kits), may not have been a wise investment for a $3,500 / year gross sales business.....

But there was zero chance in talking him out of it.... besides, I will maybe get it all one day ! :) I like the wood business.... :)

I really admire your dad. Not many men like him around today. Maybe he's lost his fastball, but he's not going down without a fight. Good for him.

I guess to men like this it’s better than the alternative.
