I will be voting for the Jr Senator from Kentucky.

Why would anyone vote for Paul the Putin puppet?

Russian shill .....

Mountain Dew is just shitty. But when you're young it's the nectar of the gods. My happiest days as a little kid were the post game dinner/parties at pizza hut with pitchers of mountain dew. can't imagine eating pizza hut today either
I once drank like 8 20oz plastic cups of Coke at Rax Steakhouse after a game. Why I remember that, I have no idea.

I literally laughed out loud. It’s awesome that a human typed it. The idea of people (or chemistry majors because they always frequent the hyper in the early mornings) standing around at the hyper to watch outside shooter make 35 straight 3s 🤣. I’m sure he had on a tank top, short shorts, knee high socks, and his Chuck Taylors.
Marvin went to Chuck Taylor's high school.

Be careful, you never know whom you're going to offend.

Converse Rubber Company. He was hired on as a salesman.
Yep . . . and the coach of the CHS basketball team a year or two after he graduated from high school was Everett Case, formerly of Anderson IN, and the coach of the Frankfort Hot Dogs when they won 4 IHSAA titles. Case was the father of the ACC . . . rumor has it that Taylor recommended Case for the NC State job.

It was the Midwest in the 80's. Just one in an endless sea of locally owned buffet type places. Think lower grade Ryan's Steakhouse.

Steakhouse being used....loosely...for both.
It was a bit better than Arby's and the two around me had a salad bar so when out working you could get a pretty good roast beef sandwich vs a greasy burger and a salad. When you are out in a back yard with no facilities building a deck a good lunch break and a bathroom were important!

Yep. Columbus had one out on 31-A. Used to eat there several times a week.

Everett was a really good coach. Another factoid, Frankfort beat Milan and Muncie Central in the famous 53-54 season.

Apparently so . . .

They advertised fast food with style I think. I usually took an hr lunch with a drive time you could get a little better food but still quickly, sit down to eat and relax use the bathroom and head out into the rest of the day. In some ways Arby's has made themselves a little better on the fast food chain . The salad and the potatoes though at Rax for a good lunch price. Lunch was my meal of the day back then

Why would ANYONE vote for Biden the nursing home patient?

Dumb ass..................
Ah.

You say someone is a dumbass for saying he won't vote for Paul and then say you won't vote for Biden for the fictitious reason that Biden is a "nursing home patient."

Please keep posting. Republicans need you to spread their message. Guys like you are all they have.

All this basketball and fast-food talk is a fun however, several on here have stated that open boarders are just fine and not supporting that position politically makes you a buffoon. Name a country that has open borders. PS. I hit 63 charity tosses in a row. Problem was it was a bar that had basketball goals. I had challenged Ray Harper. My 63 drew the crowd but his 86 was the show. I lost ten dollars.

Outside shooter is over at the chemistry lab. Can't beat Ray Harper? Come on tell us another story, maybe about your support for open borders and how we are going to tell Canada to get in line with the right way to think.

Maybe you are right, since I am pushing 60. But you remind me of the smart-mouthed student at the HPER back in '88 or so on a Saturday morning. I was with a group of guys running one of the main courts and he was on the other side. It was game point and I swished a 3 pointer. He started crying "that was a lucky shot"

I replied "rebound for me, and I will show you how lucky it wasn't " He did, and I made 35 3-pointers in a row. Guys were lining the court, counting them, after I got to 10.

That guy must have been you.
We've been making fun of you for many a year on these forums, but this post is going to push it to a brand new level.

You’re brainwashed. Seek help.

The clip is 17 minutes long.
You derided Paul 9 minutes after it was posted.
Your opinion is a lie - you didn’t watch the clip.
You don’t even have enough respect for others to watch it, so STFU.
Keep your uninformed opinion to yourself.

Evil? What’s evil is dishonest, wicked Democrats like you. Sciencey liars who claimed the vaccine would stop the spread of Covid.
The vaccine could have substantially stopped the spread had it been used more widely and not politicized by the my pillow sheep. Omicron is a right wing creation.

There is not a high chance unless you break one of their laws. But I think any American who travels to countries like N. Korea travels with a caveat emptor notice that the government is not responsible to rescue you. I am opposed to paying ransom to hostage takers. If you travel to N. Korea, Venezuela, Somalia, etc you do so at your own risk.
How about Russia to play basketball with hemp vapes in your bags. That person has a degree from a top university. I hope she gets out soon but how unaware can an educated person be?

Yes, I agree with you. I am trying to arrange a tourist trip to Syria, which I don't think will happen due to visa issues. Should something happen to me, I don't expect the government to rescue me. I will also be minding my business so that I don't violate any laws or engage in provocative actions. I don't think it's the government's responsibility to rescue people who travel to these countries willingly. I also strenuously disagree with her being misclassified as a hostage. It's unfair to real hostages. She should serve her time for the crime she committed. A very clear crime.

I am a trained Methodist. I don't think the punishment fits the crime. But damn I would think that a liberal arts education would make one more aware. Be safe in your travels, the times they are a changing. I would never travel with an American passport in much of the world.

I agree the punishment does not fit the crime, but that's the law in Russia. You don't make that kind of mistake in Russia. And I don't think the US should be in the business of dictating laws and customs to other countries.

We had a math problem and piss poor guidelines.
Anyone that doesn’t think so is either uneducated on the subject or a sheep.
You can decide

Wrong.

People with multiple vaccinations caught Covid. It did not stop the spread.

To the contrary, lessened symptoms probably contributed to faster spread because folks became less “careful” about masking.

All that happened was that the virus mutated … you know, like a virus does and always has … and became less and less damaging to most people, from both natural immunity and from how the vaccinated body made it mutate … you know, like a virus does and always has.

For some people, it always meant death. For others, it always meant sniffles. We’ll never know why. Maybe the far future will.

But if other health problems pop up in the next few years in higher-than-expected numbers in the vaccinated population, then we’ll have a different set of questions.

But Rand Paul was right about the virus helping a human body create natural immunity - you know, like a virus. I suspect he was also right about “gain of function” research being involved in this virus and it getting released through negligence.

Common sense, history and math rarely combine to get it wrong.
