I just don't understand these young players today

I think these players care more about show boating than just playing the game and want to get on Sportscenter. Act like you have been there before and just get up and make the next play. That one bone headed play pretty much put an end to any chance we had to win the game.

The motion was the "throat-slitting" motion. Extenuating.

They grow up all being told they’re going pro. The recruiting process pumps them up well beyond their realistic capabilities. And once on the field, the “look at me” sense is perpetuated. It really is not that shocking. However, it is incredibly frustrating. Now, get off my lawn.
