To be fair, Trump is no angel either and we have some people on that side kind of tied to turning a blind eye to some of his stuff too. If the Jared Kushner stuff pans out, he has explaining to do too. The only issue I have his the difference in desire to get to the bottom of both guys. On one side it is the most important thing and on the other (for the guy currently President who actually still has a real day to day impact on what happens in this country) the inquisitivity isn't there.
We have a dearth of really good leadership in this country at that level. Hopefully we get at least one better choice next year.
I think there are some Republicans - and Democrats - who could be good leaders, but aren't electable in the current environment.
I can't stand Pence, but he's a boy scout and I like a lot of his policies. I also think he's an empty suit, but he has good (former Hoosiers) advisors. I think his Presidency would calm the country and get things more on an even keel. But I can't see him being electable.
Joe Manchin is a possibility for me for President. Not that I agree with him, but he seems pretty level-headed. He's electable in the general, but no way he gets through a Dem Primary.
My personal choice right now is Tim Scott, with Nikki Haley a close second. It's too bad they're both from S. Carolina because they'd make a great Prez/VP combo.
Desantis is a strong leader, but to the Dims, he's Trump II.
This country's in a political mess. I'd still vote for Trump in the general vs anyone the Dems would realistically put up.

Now we have the same thing going on with the Biden investigation, but now you believe everything coming from Republicans on that committee to be factual and everything from Democrats to be a lie. There’s nothing consistent or objective about how you view these things.

There has been plenty of information released, particularly by the whistleblowers. I guess that's only evidence when Democrats call on whistleblowers.

I have no opinion on whether or not Circle goes too far, but singling him out as "allowed" makes no sense. Everyone is allowed. No one gets banned around these parts for personal attacks. I wish we would go back to doing that. But then we'd just be accused of being unfair.
