So? That was a function of Crean’s coaching, not a reflection of how deep the team was. If you watched them, TC ran that team into the ground, which is why they never had a chance in the tournament. Basketball people understand this now, and they understood it then.

Deep is it’s biggest strength, a lot of solid big ten players on this team. If just a few can improve to upper level players, the ceiling is the roof.
