As far as I know, it's never been tested, but my guess is that, if it were, the courts would rule that the President entered into his full authority at precisely noon on Jan 20, regardless of any oath he did or did not take, correctly or incorrectly. Sort of like how the King is the King as soon as the previous King is dead, regardless of when (or if) the coronation happens.
