CMW wants all of his guys to be able to handle the ball even the bigs. It’s not. IU offered more. It’s his view. He wants to be a point guard. Shrews is (probably) offering him that. He doesn’ have the handles yet.

Really? You were calling for RMK's head when he missed on Big Dog, or Montross? Of course you can, as long as you win.Pretty big whiff by Woodson if Haralson goes to Notre Dame. You can’t miss out on top ten in-state prospects and expect to keep your job.
He wants to be a point guard. He likes what Shrews did with Jalen Pickett at Penn State. That's the appeal to ND.
I know. It’s not that. He wants to be lead guard. That’s not the same.CMW wants all of his guys to be able to handle the ball even the bigs.
Dude is a troll at this point. Nothing more and not to be taken seriously. Unless Woodson bats 1000 on recruiting, this guy will be here pointing out the misses.Really? You were calling for RMK's head when he missed on Big Dog, or Montross? Of course you can, as long as you win.
I see this as final year for Reneau and Mgbako. There should be 5-6 schollies available if so. Galloway, Hatton,Beal and Ballo are gone after season. In the end, I believe IU gets Harelson. You can if you win. If Rice, and Carlyle, and Ballo, and Tucker, and Mgbako, and Reneau, and Goode, all pretty significant recruiting wins for Woody…if they win enough the next year or two, whatever enough is, Haralson won’t matter as much.
Huge loss though for sure if he goes elsewhere.
He wants to be a point guard.
I know who he is. I’m simply saying he wants to be the lead guard and initiate. They ran everything for picket.Look up Jalen Pickets stats his last year at Penn State.
I'm not wrong on this.
I know who he is. I’m simply saying he wants to be the lead guard and initiate. They ran everything for picket.
We are really arguing about nothing. He wants to be the dominant guard. As we know with most offense today you want 3 guard/wing types. So when I say point guard I mean the lead initiator. You are right but so am I. It’s harder to explain. Really when people say 1-2-3etc…I know IU is offering more NIL but I’m sure it’s not much more.Pickett dominated the ball and was a playmaker for State under Shrews, which is what is drawing him towards ND.
He'd get comparable NIL from all 3 final schools.
How do you know? I hear this a lot, but unless you're in, or close with someone, in JH's camp/family, they're the only ones who know.I know IU is offering more NIL but I’m sure it’s not much more.
It is speculation. It’s also not disputed by ND people. So I drew that conclusion just like many others. Take it for what it’s worth. IU is spendy right now. Basically deductive reasoning. How do you know? I hear this a lot, but unless you're in, or close with someone, in JH's camp/family, they're the only ones who know.
I don't disagree, but don't think you know. I've felt all along that for Haralson and Mullins, they are not worth more to any other program than to IU and we should have $$ available with who is leaving and projected to leave, but we still don't "know".It is speculation. I really need to start wording it this way. When I say certain things I don’t always come across correctly.I don't disagree, but don't think you know. I've felt all along that for Haralson and Mullins, they are not worth more to any program than IU and we should have $$ available with who is leaving and projected to leave, but we still don't "know".
It means the same thing as Paul McCartney walking on Abbey road barefoot...nothing.Is it a sign that MSU is standing in front of IU and ND? How many gold bars did ND offer? And the finger pointing and ball with the IU jersey on... what's that mean?
Look up Jalen Pickets stats his last year at Penn State.

True, but Izzo also has a track record with development of kids like Harrelson. Valentine/Green/Gary Harris are all comparable and his history of development vs Shrews is deeper than just Pickett. He likes what Shrews did with Jalen Pickett at Penn State. That's the appeal to ND.
Yeah, looks like Pickett is tearing up the league. He likes what Shrews did with Jalen Pickett at Penn State. That's the appeal to ND.

Just talking ball. I agree that would be attractive to JH if that is what he is seeking. Just simply saying Izzo has a good history of developing players similar to JH too.I don't know what to tell you.
He likes what Shrews did with Pickett, which is a player that Haralson is familiar with and has been a college player this decade, while Green, Harris and Valentine, who haven't been in college since 2016. I'm sure he's been pitched on who Izzo has developed, but Pickett was said specifically in why he likes ND.
The few folks here who cared about basketball loved Shrewsberry. I remember when IU lost to PSU Woodson's first year my wife and I were at the Bryce Jordan game. We were across from the benches. You looked at IU's bench and they seemed bored. You looked at PSU's bench and they were fired up the entire game. Shrewsberry got everything out of those guys. He seems like a good man.Hasn’t developed anyone? He developed a bunch of 2 stars at Penn St. He’s a good coach.
Good intel. Is what it is. On to the next one.I don't know what to tell you.

Hopefully they will bring a LOT of Mars Bars.if Woodson wins people wouldn't care if the players came from Mars.
No, it literally means that Paul McCartney was replaced part of the way through the Beatles' run. C'mon man, it's common knowledge at this point!!!It means the same thing as Paul McCartney walking on Abbey road barefoot...nothing.
I look Shrews but those “2 stars” were 24 and 25 years old. He is a good coach, but for a guy who is as one and done as humanly possible, he will hurt himself from a brand and marketing exposure going to Notre Dame.Hasn’t developed anyone? He developed a bunch of 2 stars at Penn St. He’s a good coach.
He’s 5’10….Burton has NBA aspirations. Maybe he’ll leave by next year? I don’t think he’s NBA level, but what I think doesn’t really matter. He and his people have VERY high aspirations. Which is not abnormal I suppose.
But I can’t envision Haralson playing well with Burton if he’d still be at ND.
I can see the appeal of the Shrews-Pickett combo, but I would think what Woody did with Hood-Schifino in one season might have some appeal too.He likes what Shrews did with Jalen Pickett at Penn State. That's the appeal to ND.
Hes 5-11/6’… but yeah, he’s short…so?He’s 5’10….
So name the last sub 6 ft guard to successfully leave after 2 years and get drafted? Carsen Edwards in the 2nd rd 6 years ago?Hes 5-11/6’… but yeah, he’s short…so?
Trae Young? So name the last sub 6 ft guard to successfully leave after 2 years and get drafted? Carsen Edwards in the 2nd rd 6 years ago?
Trae Young isn’t sub 6 ft and again was drafted 7 years ago. There’s two active NBA players smaller than 6 ft.Trae Young?
I don't know what to tell you.

lol.I'll eat crow if I'm wrong but all of the tea leaves 🍃 point toward Notre Dame. MSU would've had a better chance getting him if Izzo would've taken the reins as the primary, like his competition. Mark Montgomery was the primary but he's now at Detroit Mercy. Plus they're a NIL backwater with Izzo. Shrewsbury has broke down significantly more film with Haralson and in Jalens words, "he's an offensive genius that's already helped my game.."
Reexamine the Sisley/Haralson history and recruiting timeliness. I've been told for 2 years they wouldn't play in college together.

Nothingburger.lol.
The staff wouldn’t have taken a commitment, let alone recruited Sisley if this was a one or the other type recruitment. Haralson may very well go ND or MSU, but it’s not because Sisley and Haralson don’t like each other.
There isn’t any. What is the beef w those 2? Clearly IU felt comfortable taking sisley even if they thought it would hurt w Haralson.
