How many years before they are able to vote? I read somewhere and they said 5 years, but thought that was crazy. Anyone know?

Is that a 5 year process? 10 year process? Do you know? When they become citizens.
Won't the requirements vary depending on the law of the state where they reside? Is that a 5 year process? 10 year process? Do you know?
I honestly have no clue 🤷🏻♂️Won't the requirements vary depending on the law of the state where they reside?
It's a forever process. TPS designees are not eligible for citizenship. They have to have another channel open to them.Is that a 5 year process? 10 year process? Do you know?
I think it depends. The rule of thumb for Sailors who marry citizens of other countries is that it takes a minimum of five years. Unfortunately, divorces come soon after that for too many of them. I have heard it taking longer though. Is that a 5 year process? 10 year process? Do you know?
Thanks for answer. So if another channel doesn’t open, what happens? Are they eligible for legal employment forever? This will be an issue for employers in our area. It's a forever process. TPS designees are not eligible for citizenship. They have to have another channel open to them.
Trump said he will have them gone in three months, so it probably doesn't matter. Thanks for answer. So if another channel doesn’t open, what happens? Are they eligible for legal employment forever? This will be an issue for employers in our area.
Geez, I asked a serious question.Trump said he will have them gone in three months, so it probably doesn't matter.
This is a fairly weak complaint in my opinion.Geez, I asked a serious question.
Btw pissed my wife off last night over that three month comment and the absurdity. I am still going to vote for him over Harris/Walz.
Btw is she black, white, brown or yellow? She has a different speech dialect depending on who she’s speaking to. Wonder if she has an Amish dialect. I guess she figures everyone is dumb like she said young people are.
I used to spend every summer of my youth in TN. It was amazing how quickly I went from talking normal (indiana) and saying things like "you guys" to replacing it with Y'all and over yonder. Only to have the process reverse itself once I got back to Indiana...This is a fairly weak complaint in my opinion.
I have lived all over this country (California, Ohio, Colorado, Alabama, NC, Indiana, Florida) and long enough at each of those locations that I have picked up the dialect. I also worked for a Japanese company for 8 years.
When I am in Alabama, the twang in my voice just pops out after a couple of minutes of talking. Same thing with NC (though it's a slightly different twang, it's kinda subtle).
When I talk with Japanese people, I talk in a broken-English, removing some words that the Japanese language doesn't use (Ie. "the" is removed frequently, etc.)
When I am in California (parents still live there), I find myself often having a bit of a Hispanic emphasis when talking to the people in my parent's neighborhood.
When I am in Florida, I beat my wife a bit more (J/K)
The point being, I am not altering my speech because I am pandering to the audience. I am doing it because they just understand me a little better.
I can speak professionally or poor white trash.Btw is she black, white, brown or yellow? She has a different speech dialect depending on who she’s speaking to. Wonder if she has an Amish dialect. I guess she figures everyone is dumb like she said young people are.
I'm the same way. This is a fairly weak complaint in my opinion.

Come on, man. Everyone knows they can vote via absentee ballot as soon as the Democrat community organizers get to them...When they become citizens.
No.Won't the requirements vary depending on the law of the state where they reside?
My wife insists that she knows when I am talking on the phone to a southern Indiana relative or friend because I start talking in a hick accent, without thinking about it at all.The point being, I am not altering my speech because I am pandering to the audience. I have two, Amish Kentucky Hick and Professional.I can speak professionally or poor white trash.
So the Trumpers CAN understand youI can speak professionally or poor white trash.
If I want them to.So the Trumpers CAN understand you
We spend 6 trillion f#cking dollars on the Federal government and the twat waffles can’t secure one border.
And you weren’t mistaken for a Yankee in Texas. My wife insists that she knows when I am talking on the phone to a southern Indiana relative or friend because I start talking in a hick accent, without thinking about it at all.
But she's from texas and talks in a Texas twang to her Texan friends and relatives

Back to Springfield... Saw a bit of Vivek holding a town Hall there this evening, and I think he was surprised when some of his most xenophobic tag lines only seemed to get a smattering of applause...People didn't seem too receptive to the characterizing of Haitians as "illegals" or the idea of mass deporting them...
Small anti-hate demonstration in the town last night, so it seems the idea of a Trump visit might not be greeted with opem arms by the entire community...
Counterpoint from the governor of Ohio (who certainly knows more about this situation than Mr. Ramaswamy).
I can't read it lars, but if he is trying to justify overrunning Springfield, he's a moron. The notion that all immigration is good is incorrect. The fact it is a national story and residents are pissed off proves my point. If they would have had a better policy and kept the immigration to say 2,000, it's a non story and a lot more beneficial to Springfield. A lot of the issues and friction goes away. It would be refreshing if they admitted their mistakes, but politicians don't do that anymore.Counterpoint from the governor of Ohio (who certainly knows more about this situation than Mr. Ramaswamy).
Nah, his point was using Sprinfield the way Trump/Vance have is irresponsible and wrong b/c the Haitians are here legally. He believes Trump and VAnce are ****ing up the immigration argument by focusing on legal immigration. I think he's right. But that's the Trump/Vance playbook. Instead of being critical in a way that really defines the problem and offers solutions, they're just mean.I can't read it lars, but if he is trying to justify overrunning Springfield, he's a moron. Gotcha. Thanks for the response. I think DeWine is trying to deflect because he is being called out. Personally, I don't care if the Haitian immigrants are legal or illegal, it's terrible policy to allow that many into a city of that size. It actually pisses me off, because DeWine is indirectly admitting he is fine with overrunning cities. Does he take any responsibility for the issues or is just Trump/Vance are dumb?Nah, his point was using Sprinfield the way Trump/Vance have is irresponsible and wrong b/c the Haitians are here legally. More of a big tent message than anything else. But, like GWB, I think Dewine believes immigration should be celebrated when done legally and that scapegoating the Haitians here is wrong, as is thinking everyone in Springfield is a racist hillbilly.Gotcha. I honestly have no clue 🤷🏻♂️
I do think for a place like Springfield that will be important. From what I've heard, factories and other businesses that likely would have closed had they not had an influx of Haitians come are still going strong. Hopefully the rug isn't pulled out from under them. Thanks for answer. So if another channel doesn’t open, what happens? Are they eligible for legal employment forever? He comes across as a crony conservative. He seems to care about aligning his pockets and wealthier constituents. He's also short. I always have distrust for short leaders and fat doctors. He's a little pimp.
His successor, Vivek Ramaswamy, is a mountain of a man at 5'9.He comes across as a crony conservative. He seems to care about aligning his pockets and wealthier constituents. He's also short. I always have distrust for short leaders and fat doctors.
I have biases. Never claimed it was scientific🤷♂️ Vivek was/is very successful in the private world, which alleviates my concerns. DeWine has been in politics for 50+ years. His successor, Vivek Ramaswamy, is a mountain of a man at 5'9.
