That would really require a Constitutional Amendment. Even if it doesn't favor one party over the other, I think we're long past the point where Constitutional Amendments are politically feasible.

It normally is a strength. We're the only country that could have possibly endured Watergate, and then watched it end peacefully as the President rode off into the sunset. No tanks. No helicopters flying around. No curfews. That was America.

Now these are pretty traditional, lifelong Republicans... not really 'Trumpers'... just 100% reliable R voters every cycle. The classic don't really like Trump, but like his policies, yada, yada.....none of them have their hair on fire.... they are just like meh, we lost. And that was pretty obvious to all off them Wed morning.

There's going to be plenty of time to discuss policy over the next 2-4 years. That seems unusual now as we've basically only debated the vTrump circus for most of the last 4... with a little bit of tax discussion in year 1.

Trump certainly the only candidate I've seen that basically ran on absolutely zero policy.... it was 100% a personality reelection campaign. Guy couldn't even say what he wanted to do in a 2nd term.
