First UK. Then France. Now Germany. Canada on the brink.

Like most brainwashed 'experts' the author wandered around for most of the article, but managed to get the 'separation between Church and State' trope into his screed. Of course, there is no such language in the Constitution or Bill of Rights. It's intentionally misstated, and has been for a long time.
Mass, along the same line and in spite of many Americans believing it, neither the Constitution or the Bill of Rights establishes the U.S. as being a Christian nation.

I’m shocked Europe is collapsing. And yes, the suspect is reportedly a Muslim man from Saudi Arabia.

“Collapsing” may be a wee bit of a sensationalization.

But I had an interesting conversation with a Liverpudlian cabbie today. When I get a better chance, I’ll expound on it.

European Union has always had its problems while the diverse countries of Europe are having their ups and downs meeting a variety of challenges.

Think in terms of what is happening in Texas isn't necessarily happening in North Dakota.

Mass, what did "all" the Founders believe in respect to the term freedom of religion? Put"all" in quotes per your post. Personally have a hard time believing the Founders all shared exactly the same religious ideology even though being Christains. Furthermore, I doubt a large percentage of the Indiana Republicans including delegates who voted for Beckwith at the state GOP convention even understand Beckwith's Christian Nationalism. Mass, as you say, we ain't seen nothin' yet. To this I add, in respect to Beckwith and his Christian Nationalism. Got a feeling he will end up with a short political career a la Mourdock.
With respect, that feeling you're having might be gas....

Well...Orban in Hungary.
AfD in Germany
(Germany's household income has dropped $2,600 in the past 3 years).
Romania.
Macron's coalition in France is fractured.
Netherlands.
Starmer in UK is reviled..Labor is toast...
The elite in the EU is literally panicking...talking about $11Billion to build a less efficient, slower alternative to Starlink to gain control of the narrative.

Populism and Nationalism are growing throughout Europe.

And Texas and North Dakota...

Mass, have to agree.

Only change might be from saying Nationalism and Populism are growing to saying Nationalism and Populism have been growing.

Mass, our European friends may not be doing as well as the U.S. since Covid, but Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea are really struggling.

Russia experienced approximately 9% growth in GNP, offsetting it's 9% inflation. Russia's economy is now 4th largest globally.

Sanctions and war cause inflation, as the American economy demonstrates. Victor Davis Hanson implored the West to engage with the opposition in Iran years ago, but warmongers will monger, hence Hisb and the Houthi...

The US debt is $36 Trillion, adding another Trillion every 100 days. The money pissed away by the American government over Israel and Ukraine has been thrown away, and can never be recovered.
I think China will implode in the next 5-7 years. NK has been forced into the Russian sphere again primarily by sanctions.

The US Government has made a mess everywhere it engages. The world will benefit greatly by this country's growing nationalism and isolationist policies.

Where do you get your information? Russian doesn't have the 4th largest economy by GNP or GDP. Funding of Ukraine and Israel account for a tiny fraction of our spending each year and therefore a tiny fraction of the debt.

You reflexively defend Russia (with BS stats) and reflexively denigrate the USA (mostly with BS).

Mass, would the U.S. making a mess everywhere it engages include helping Ukraine and Israel ?

Israel would likely be more inclined to have more peaceable relationships with it's neighbors if the US did not hand it a new arsenal every year.$borrowed)
Ukraine is destroyed for maybe generations, over a million dead, economy and infrastructure destroyed, half the population left the country, millions internally displaced.($borrowed).
Some help......

Mass, appreciate your response. However, it does make me want to probe further.

In respect to Israel finding peace with its neighbors, doesn't Iran play a part in this not happening?

As to Ukraine, why didn't you mention Russia's in role in this along with the price Russia is paying, or do you just blame the U.S. and NATO for what is hapening in Ukraine as if Russia had no choice but to invade ?

I would point out that Ukr/Rus history did not start in 2022, as a couple of sub 102 IQ posters hereabouts would have you believe.
Take the time to read Eisenhower's farewell address to the nation in 1961. Pay heed to his warnings. He is credited with coining the term 'military-industrial complex', and juxtapose his warnings with today's geopolitical turmoil.
Much of the world sees this once noble and free country as global bullies to the extent this world has never experienced.

We are no longer a Constitutional Republic

We are no longer noble.

We are no longer free .

We have allowed this to happen.

We are responsible for fixing our nation.

Of course, Russia invaded and occupied Crimea in 2014. No matter how you slice it, Viktor, Russia invaded and occupied sovereign nation. To compound their transgression, they had agreed to protect Ukraine, as did the US, in the denuclearization deal. Backstabbing Russia is the bad actor here, not Ukraine and not the USA.

Your descriptions of the USA come straight from Russian propaganda. I don’t know how or when you became an anti-American Russian tool, but you did.

Mass, in response to your post did some research (links above) on polling being done which (1) Reflect how Americans are feeling about our status in the world, (2) How the rest of the world sees us, and (3) Finally what the world and Russia think about Putin.

Mass, it is hard to sum up what the three links say and you may not agree with my summation, but here goes...

In terms of how the world sees the U.S. and Putin, I would day the United States comes off more favorably than does Putin. However, Putin for the most part gets favorable ratings from his own people although there is some dissatisfaction with the economy and corruption. As to how Americans view our standing in the world, there seems to be a surprisingly strong sentiment that we are no longer universally respected.

Mass, finally, on a personal level, don't agree with your following conclusions but unfortunately do understand a good many Americans would agree...

When the contact with America is increasingly violent, self-serving, and manipulative, is it any wonder non-American worldview of us continues to be negative?
If you were a German citizen, seeing your standard of living decline, energy supplies decrease and prices soar; witnessing the domestic political upheaval, understanding the root cause of this disruption was American jingoism....what would be your opinion of this formerly great nation?

Mass, my link shows Germany being a 50/50 split on U.S. favorability which resembles most of Europe.

So it is a toss up how as a German citizen whether I might have an unfavorable opinion about the U.S.

As to Putin, according to my link 74% of the Germans have an unfavorable view of Putin in spite of importing Russian energy.
