Dang ol’ redneck GOP votes libruhl again

They must not know their place

Or maybe only the Dems hear those dog whistles?
This case was decided two months ago, so you're a little late to the party. The only reason it's back in the news is because the racists in the AL GOP decided they were going to ignore the SCOTUS ruling, and then this past week or so the original Federal court that had ruled against them initially (which resulted in the AL GOP's appeal to SCOTUS) basically put the hammer down and ordered that the ruling be implmented...

There are also implications for LA,TX,GA and IIRC FL which will likely cost the GOP the loss of (gerrymandered) seats...Seems like a lot of this nonsense could have been avoided had a previous SCOTUS ruling not scuttled aspects of the Voting Rights Act. One thing you can say about racist Southern GOP Legislatures- they are going to push the envelope as far as they can...

Marc Elias is kicking GOP ass, 64-1 vs Trump and now a stunning win here as well...

Alabama Republicans game plan all along. They’re going back to SCOTUS with their new map that was drawn in the special session but will make a different argument this time & will challenge the validity of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act

I guess we're going to find out whether or not racism really is a thing of the past, since most institutional protections against racism will soon be dismantled.
