Before the season starts, I'm cutting the cord with DISH. Cable is not available where I live, but I do have a reliable 1 GB fiber connection. Ridiculous pricing, the current unavailability of CBS in addition to past network disputes is the last straw.
I've decided to either do the premium versions of Hulu or YouTube. One feature I really like with DISH is that when I watch sporting events, I like to begin watching games about 45-60 minutes after they begin and skip through commercials and halftime. I generally end the game viewing it live.
I know both streaming services allow recording events and will allow skipping commercials on some recorded events. However, I can't find anything that says I can skip commercials if the game is still in progress like I can with DISH.
Is anyone with these services able to watch games in the way I have described? Thanks for any input.
