Not really. Reds have been difficult to embrace for some time now. Saw those great/perfect Dodger uniforms on baseball cards as a seven-year-old. No better uniform in sports.

I have a yearly bet with two college friends between the Reds, Cubs, and Pirates. Usually, it consists of all three of us complaining about how much our team sucks. This year when the Reds got off to that start, the Pirate fan offered to trade me teams as he was sure the Pirates would end with the worst record. So for this year, and this year alone, I'm a Pirate fan. So with that said, why didn't 7-year-old you fall in love with Roberto Clemente's team?
After all those teams are just farm teams for the Dodgers, Yankees, etc.🤣
Hated the yellow (or gold) and black, sleeveless Pirates uniforms. What is it with Pittsburgh teams? All the same, ugly colors. Goes for Purdue, as well. Any team (Iowa, Saints, etc.) with that scheme has my eternal enmity.
Dodger uniforms are classic, with the angled “Dodgers” and then the one touch of red in the number on the front. No other uniform comes close.
I certainly agree about gold and black.
But in the end, I'm not a fashion consultant so I really never consider what a uniform looks like in choosing a team. I wanted to be a catcher, my dad had a very successful career as a catcher, and Johnny Bench was a Red. So I was a Reds fan.
To be fair, EVERYBODY's had the Cardinals football team.
Not a bad reason to be a Reds fan. Bench redefined how the position was/is played. And to hit as he did/could was truly amazing.
They're the franchise equivalent of J-Lo.

Penguins colors used to be light blue and black and white and then they harmonized. Pittsburgh fans suck.
Correct but they have little hope of that with the current staff they have. He would have to clean house and get rid of all the partisan lefties like Don Lemon and Seltzer.

CNN has a LONG way to go to reach any semblance of balance. Early on, they had a nice niche as a national and global pure news organization. They would require a total makeover to get back to those days.

Yes (Dodgers); no (Yankees).
I do prefer the teams that keep the basic uniform design. Penn State and Alabama football, for example. Some pro teams and some colleges seem to change every couple of years. Just look at IU and all the craziness over helmet design.
