Why, when I watch these teams, does the game seem so much more enjoyable? Players are out there giving everything and they seem to be able to anticipate situations and respond to pressure so much better. There seems to be a bit higher basketball IQ and court awareness. There are certainly a lot of players, many without the "stars" or renown, I think would look good in Crimson.
When does IU get back to this stage? Isiah was tough. Quinn Buckner and Bobby Wilkerson were tough. Tolbert was TOUGH. I'm sooooo tired of soft and tentative.
Maybe we can prevail upon the NCAA to give Morgan several more years of eligibility. Romeo certainly has the potential but he needs a Buckner to kick him into a higher gear. Rob will be better once he's back to full health. And, then, well, looks like we need a complete overhaul after that. And with Rob being the only one above who will likely be back next year we need a major infusion of something .....
