Are We Still Arguing About Hatians?

Give me an honest opinion.

What do you think about dropping 150 haitian people on temporary protected status in a town of 2600 with no available housing, a and county with no jobs for them?

Vincennes, Jasper, Huntingburg all have furniture factories and Farbest.

Why here?
Don't know. Need links.

Good man but rival.

Grew up outside Washington. Graduated from USI, rented a house from my grandma Prewitts friend on boggs then moved into Loogootee.

Jack butcher was a pretty good guy but strict disciplinarian

I played for Dave Omer at WHS. Graduated 03'

I played a year with Luke.
Dave lived right next to my office in Washington. Really tuff coach!! Alan Bubalo was kind of the offsetting mild coach. Away from the game Dave is a quiet man. I was happy he got a state championship.

My dear friend Donald Patrick Montgomery (RIP) grew up in Loogootee..
In his day, they went to Washington to chase the girls.

“No jobs for them”…that is the problem. The problem isn’t migrants coming into the country illegally to WORK. The problem is the government spending $150 billion a year on “free” welfare services for people here illegally.

Sparty, help me here.

Who are the illegals ? How many are there? What are the government benefits? Should we deport them?

Sparty, interesting information supplied to the New York Post from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). Hadn't heard of this organization until you posted the Post article.

FAIR is definitely an important lobby group on immigration policy having testified to Congress over 90 times. Would love to have Congress write an immigration reform bill with input from lobbies such as FAIR which want limited immigration and my personal favorite the CATO Institute.
